Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars, zeer attent en voorkomend. We logeerden enkele dagen in één van de gites. Zeer ruim, gezellig ingericht en zeer compleet uitgerust. De fietsen konden in een afgesloten bergplaats gestald worden. Elk van de twee gites heeft een private, discrete tuin met ruim voldoende tuinmeubelen. Daarnaast is er nog een grote tuin met speeltoestellen en comfortabele tuinmeubelen. Het zalig ontbijt maakte het tot een verblijf dat we niet zullen vergeten! Eén kleine opmerking. Toen wij er verbleven was er (tijdelijk?) geen table d'hôte te verkrijgen zoals we op een site was vermeld.

This is a beautiful B&B out in the country but close to Bayeux (so convenient for dinner), the Normandy beaches and other attractions such as the lovely Brecy garden. The hosts, Florence and Dominique, are very considerate and helpful, they go out of their way to help their guests. I very much enjoyed staying there and Bayeux is a very interesting town. Don’t miss the Bayeux tapestry!

Gorgeous property located about 8kms from Bayeux so perfect for exploring the D-Day beaches as well as the many other interesting historic sites and architecture, and of course the fabulous Bayeux tapestry.

Florence and Dominique were perfect hosts. Great conversation. Charming farmhouse chateaux. Lovely breakfasts. Nice sitting room. Only downside was bumping my head in dormer roofed room on top floor.

Les Chaufourniers is a haven of peace surrounded by greenery, strategically located to visit Calvados region. Florence and Dominique surprised us with an upgrade to our room :) very spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! I loved the decor of the whole place. Breakfast is plentiful with croissants, bread and jams, homemade cakes, yoghurt, fruit, etc. Dominique always makes sure that everything is ok and in general you can perceive the attention and total availability towards the guests. This was really appreciated! They were very kind and provided us with many useful tips on places to visit and dine! Highly recommend :)

Les Chaufourniers is such a beautiful property in the heart of Normandy. Florence and Dominique are wonderful hosts who understand what makes traveling so special. We came for a D-day experience and left with a love of Bayeax, Mont St Michel, Honfleur - and Les Chaufourniers in the process.

A lovely presented property with fantastic welcome from Florence and Dominique. We loved the natural chuckles from Dominique, the warmth given at check in and the efficient bookings made with their recommended eateries....which were spot on for price, variety and presentation. We only stayed two nights but felt we left as friends. Well worthy of their excellent TripAdvisor rating.

Accueil très chaleureux dans ce beau domaine des Chanfourniers. Décor magnifique, petit-déjeuner royal (confitures et gâteaux confectionnés par nos hôtes, viennoiseries délicieuses...), calme assuré : que demander de mieux ?
