The Water Hotel is new and comfortable. It's very close to the attractions, and you can even spot wildlife right outside your room. Near the reception, you can see a wombat, and it even has a name! That wombat often tries to get into the reception, which is quite amusing.

The location is super convenient; Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre is just across the road, making it easy to catch the shuttle bus. The cabin has a heater, so you don't have to worry about the cold, and it's well-equipped, though we couldn't get any local TV channels. There are two rooms, each with a double bed, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. I wanted to do laundry that day, but the closest laundry room was locked. Because of the heavy rain, I didn't go to the further one.

We cooked for our meal and quite impressive to convenience equipments and the stunning view!

Whole apartment including toilets are equipped with heater, we feel comfortable with the chilly cold weather outside, especially up in high attitude Cradle Mountain. It was equipped with complete set of pots & pans, stove, microwave, fridge to cook our own meals.  We managed to send message (via Trip.com) to alert on our late checkin, special arrangement for self-checkin after their work hours. Biggest problem we have problem figuring out where to collect the apartment key as it was raining & sky turning dark. Although we only stayed for a night, we do feel like staying home, so comfortable. Our dislike is we had to check out before 10am in which we don’t have much time to explore in early morning since it was raining since night before until morning, it’s like we just booked in for a night sleep that’s it.

It was so lovely to have wild animals visit us on our cabin's balcony! The cabin was very clean inside. The environment was comfortable; my friends and I had a great time eating and chatting in the cabin. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great! Although the space was a little small, it had a complete set of cooking utensils, an oven, and a microwave. The best part was that we stayed in August, which is winter, so having heating in the accommodation was a huge plus. What's more, we checked in late, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful; they turned on the heating for us in advance so we walked into a warm room. Highly recommend! As we were preparing to check out today, we were lucky enough to spot some wild wallabies 🦘.

We arrived after 6pm so we needed to call the resort hotline to find out what’s the latest check in instructions. It would be great we get informed about this in advance. But the resort hotline was very helpful and we were able to get what we needed to check in and reached our house. Our house was fully equipped (except cooking oil excluded). The main restaurant is on the other side of the road and you needed to book in advance. We were “forced” to move our dinner earlier after reservation without a proper reason, so it’s a bit disappointing on the experience for family traveling from far to stay at your place. The only suggestion is the lighting in the living room. It was quite dark and only with pure white light. It should have ambient lighting color for vacation. Thanks

It was walking distance to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Although we encountered wild animal welcomed us when we first arrived, but all the experiences were lovely and memorable. The bathroom was also good, they turned on heater so we feel comfortable in the bathroom. And everything else was great to accomodate us!

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the accommodation. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Good choice if u choose to stay near the cradle mountain. It takes less than 5 min-drive to the national park. The accommodation is big & clean beyond our expectation. If you’re lucky enough you’ll see the lil guests (wallaby/wombat) as a surprise !

The reception didn't really know where the camp kitchens were for dormatries. Sent us to go down the. Hill Furthur when their directly next to our room. Great location to the mountain. And lovely restaurants nearby

We were group of 8 included elderly and teens. Booked for 2 cabins, sleep for 8 Nice and comfy place Comes with kitchen, living room, dining table with heater. About 30mins drive to cradle mountain summit.
