The staff were wonderful. They were very helpful, attentive, and happy. The room was large and clean. The pools were great along with the beach (beach was very clean). The only thing we didn’t like was the food. Usually served like warm and there wasn’t a lot of options.

Beach front property was great. Didn’t care for all the sales pitches. They need to redo their beach chair setup. Not near enough seating and guests start informal reserving the night before. At some point this could become controversial

The property needs updated. Our room had a broken safe which we asked to have fixed 3xs, but nothing was done. Beach chairs "reserved" for preferred guests were allowed to be claimed with towels all day which started as early as 8 am. We did not find 4 chairs for our group to sit together the entire week.
The food on the property was very disappointing--very bland, but the drinks were good.
Staff was nice and helped us with excursions, but rather surprised with the cost of add on special dinners/events.
The massage is definitely worth the cost--best I have had!

Do not stay at this Secrets property. The market buffet had tons of birds eating the food and bugs in the salad bar. Limited and really poor food selection. We went into town 2 days to find a decent breakfast. Whole property is outdated and under maintained compared to other secrets properties. The Boudreaux French restaurant was the only good food we had, mainly just the chicken cordon bleu. The staff is friendly but really understaffed makes it hard to maintain good standards. Hyatt needs to invest in this property asap! Not going back until they do major renovations. Beach was nice.

We have stayed at this property a few times. We have always had beach front preferred rooms and would recommend that. Entertainment in the evening’s could be more common as it seems to be less than other years. The staff is great throughout the resort except for the lobby front desk. They didn’t really care that the guests were there and seemed like they couldn’t get rid of us fast enough. Pool waiters and waitresses were great and also the bartenders were friendly and helpful. AC units in the beachfront preferred units could use an upgrade because we either seemed to be hot or cold. Overall a nice stay at a nice beach I was just let down mostly with the staff at checkout.

The property needs serious maintenance. Despite multiple restaurants ALL are closed are particular hours during the day. Maintenance issues required waiting in our room for the appropriate worker to arrive. Some nights wait times for restaurants were over 2 hours leaving no option but buffet.
