Superluxe! Prachtige accommodatie op een wijmakerij. Zeer goed restaurant, lekker ontbijt en heerlijke kamers. Als je terug komt van het diner is het licht aan gedaan in je kamer, de gordijnen gesloten en ligt er een vriendelijk kaartje op je kussen om je goedenacht te wensen met een chocolaatje. Bij aankomst een fles water met een stuk cake. Verder een waterkoker en thee en oploskoffie en dagelijks een nieuwe fles water. Zwembad aanwezig en mooi terras.

Beautiful property! Staff was amazing! Without a car there are limited locations for lunch and dinner off-property. The menus do not change day to day on site. Therefore after a few days we were ready for some new food options. Very peaceful setting and a lovely way to start our Portugal vacation.

Had a lovely time. The pool needed some cleaning and would’ve loved a bigger bed. The food was good and scenery around the location was outstanding.

Very beautiful and relaxing location. The pool and views were incredible. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Overall a wonderful stay.
It is about halfway between peso de régua and pinhão; about a 40 minute drive from each. The train stop is very close though.

Perfect place for a Douro Valley stop. Very quaint, lots of charm, lovely staff, amazing views, nice restaurant with wonderful food. We had a crazy storm come in so we weren’t able to enjoy the pool and outside eating as much as we’d have liked.
The wine tasting tour left much to be desired so I wouldn’t go there just for that.

Spectacular site well worth the cost. The ONLY demerit we found was the unchanging menu every day. Whereas everything on the menu is exquisite, the lack of variety grew tiresome after 3 days of meals.
