Citadines La Défense Paris

Was there for the new year celebration with my family.Nice place to be with the family looking at the 2 rooms setup. Only challenge remains the access for food delivery and Uber. By all means Defense access is always complex.

We verbleven 3 nachten. Kamer was goed. Over het algemeen een beetje klein, en het toilet kon wat werk gebruiken, maar veel ruimte om te slapen, en het was gemakkelijk om dat te doen.

Zeer schoon en modern appartement. Badkamer was erg klein, maar was geen probleem voor ons. Bedden waren zeer comfortabel en het beddengoed was vlekkeloos schoon en van goede kwaliteit. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het is een beetje moe om buiten het gebouw te kijken, maar niets zou me ervan weerhouden om opnieuw te boeken. Heel dicht bij een metrostation voor reizen naar het centrum van Parijs, dat op slechts minder dan 10 minuten afstand lag. Enkele leuke levendige bars en restaurants in de buurt. Zou deze accommodatie graag aanbevelen.

Het verblijf was absoluut prima. Mijn enige klacht was het luide windgeruis buiten de kamer. Onze dochter was doodsbang voor het lawaai. Ik zou alleen willen vragen om geen buitenkamer te hebben met een klein kind onder de 10 jaar als ze niet gewend zijn aan harde windstoten. We verbleven 3 nachten.

My husband and I stayed at Citadines (La Defense, Courbevoie) for three nights the last week of August 2023. From the moment that we stepped into the hotel, we were warmly greeted by friendly receoptionist Paola. In light of the usual 'customer service' that we experience in Paris, we were pleasantly surprised by Paola's gracious, professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic attitude. If we had any questions, Paola was able to promptly and knowledgeably answer them. If we had any request to make the room more comfortable, Paola was able to address it punctually and to our satisfaction. Paola really made the experience five star from the very beginning. We are somewhat sensitive to noise, so Paola made sure that our room was facing away from the traffic towards the inside of la Defense. This made for a wonderful stay during which we could really relax and sleep well. Paola's good customer service must have been contagious, as the other staff members manning the reception desk were also very pleasant. The room itself was small but comfortable - Citadines has the benefit of an induction stove, new beds / mattresses, and a decently sized shower. This was everything that we needed for our three night stay, and we were very happy overall. There are enough little cupboards located around the room to ensure that clothes can be stored, but nothing too fancy...do not bring a big suitcase unless you upgrade to a bigger room! The entrance to Citadines is somewhat tricky to find as it is necessary to walk up the stairs in front of another hotel called Fraser Suites, along an upper esplanade, and then down some stairs around the back of Fraser Suites (which is the hotel adjoined on to Citadines). The entrance to Citadines is not very grand. Normally, the taxi will drop passengers off in front of Fraser Suites as it is too difficult to find the entrance to Citadines. From the front of Fraser Suites, the entrance to Citadines is not more than a 5 minute walk. Close by Citadines, there is a metro station accessing line 1, which will take passengers straight into the centre of Paris - very convenient. There are no remarkable restaurants in la Defense, so I would recommend that guests of Citadines travel one metro stop into Neuilly-sur-Seine to try one of the top quality restaurants located on rue de Longchamps. If you are looking for a simple yet efficient short term stay (not more than 5 days), definitely try Citadines. The location makes it very convenient to get into Paris quickly without the hassle or price of actually having a hotel in Paris. We did not try the breakfast at Citadines as we just bought our own from bakeries in Neuilly.

Short distance from metro station, good size of the room. Place is quiet, but ventilation is such that neighbor's kitchen cooking odors spread rather far (perhaps guests need to be educated on the hood usage). Kitchen somewhat undersupplied (only one rather small pot, pan, few kitchen utensils, microwave instead of real oven/micro combo, tiny dishwasher, very small counter). A few small irritations that bothered me throughout were sharp edges on door handles and cabinets, poorly designed shower curtain, hard closing of all doors (closets, fridge, cabinets, entry doors) making a lot of noise, which was not well insulated. AC system never really worked the way it was programmed (temperature was always higher than that set by the user by couple of degrees), but I was lucky that the overall outside temperature was not too high, so didn't feel that much of discomfort. Not sure how it would feel in a heat wave. Overall good option for a single traveler longer stay (e.g. week), but a few rough edges in the actual experience.
