Grand Teguise Playa

La ubicación del hotel es una pasada, queda justo frente al mar con todas las habitaciones en esa dirección. Por dentro tiene una especie de estanque con plantas y sofás, en la que puedes descansar y desconectar, además de que tienen actuaciones por la noche. Las habitaciones están bastante bien, a nosotros nos tocó una con dos camas y eso si es algo que no nos gustó. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Just returned from a two week all inclusive holiday the the Hotel Grand Teguise Playa. We had been some years ago so it wasn't completely new to us, and it was much as we remembered it. The vast majority of bedrooms have a sea view, and the view from our fourth floor room as superb. The location is excellent overlooking a small beach that has easy access from the hotel grounds. It is in a very central position near to many of the shops and bars. The service from the hotel staff is first class, and Roland in the animation team keeps everyone entertained throughout the day. The only negative that I can think of is that the range of meals in the restaurant, is less than some hotels that we have visited, but that won't stop us returning next year. In fact we met lots of guests who were "returners", many for the 9th or 10th time.

This is the best hotel in lanzarore ,food is delicious ,something for every taste ! I liked everything lol .waiters are friendly and so were reception .maids were lovely ! Pool area is dead on I didn’t spend much time at it ,All in all I would come back here.

Nothing very ‘Grand’ about this hotel. The pool towels were thin and quite worn, A deposit was required for them and woe betide if you don’t swap them at the correct time! The room towels were so small. I will never return. The bar staff were ‘offhand’ a girl called Chaxi was so rude you would think you had asked her for a kidney not a cocktail ( they were poor also). We and many other guests ate out for evening meals as the food was so poor. Breakfast and Lunch were definitely better but not great. We would have settled for a Tuna salad most days but Tuna only made an appearance once in the week we stayed 19/05/24. The Jet2 rep Sally was great at trying to listen and feedback our concerns. I believe this hotel had a makeover recently, it’s just a pity they didn’t go the extra mile and replace the towels and sun loungers which were really uncomfortable. When I go on holiday I look forward to nice food, I think the chefs should go to the lighthouse restaurant and get some tips from their chefs as the food there was really good.

The hotel is tired; the food is beige and bland; the reception staff do not support or promote the beautiful island even for general local directions they were unhelpful; the bar staff condescending and rude example do you have sweet wine answer look on the app.... Lanzarote produces wine yet nothing available the drink was substandard and draft flat. First time ever on an all inclusive that we ate out and bought our own alcohol. Location good; beach accessible; great town and walks; mattress comfortable and view from room exceptional. Would not go back there.

On arrival the hotel facade was impressive. Checkin and allocation of rooms was friendly and efficient. The rooms almost without exception have balconies and a sea view looking out over the three pools. It was very pleasant to sit, watch, and listen to the sea from the room every day. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean in all areas, as is the furniture and fittings. All the staff when they meet you say hallo with a smile. Even in the early morning dark the gardeners and pool staff go about their business with head torches. The pools temperatures and ph levels are closely monitored and noted daily. A lifeguard sits up in a high chair, and makes regular walks around the pools keeping things safe. The main pool is heated salt water, and you could just walk in and enjoy as long a swim as you want. There were plenty of sun beds around the pools and we always managed two whatever time of day we came down. The dining room is very clean and bright, the staff efficient and very friendly. Breakfast had a wide range of cereals, juices, meats and breads; properly made scrambled eggs and pancakes. Did not have lunch at all. In the evening there was a wide range of foods, some meats and fish being freshly cooked by a Chef. A very big salad bar with cheeses and a wide selection of sweets to follow. Drinks were served as soon as you sit down. Cooking for so many nationalities was no doubt difficult. The afternoon snacks cooked by the pool were very popular, as was the pool bar who served up an amazing range of drinks. The evening entertainment was some of the best that we have previously experienced Judging by the standard of the shows and the energy of the animation team, during the summer the children should have a ball. The two little beaches and the lagoon are easily accessed by the gate past the pools. A rock wall stops all but the highest tide from overwhelming the lagoon. The fish will eat from your hand they like bananas and bread. Quite a spectacle, The lifts are well placed quick and very quiet. Across from the hotel a road takes you on a short 10 minute walk to a bay with shops, restaurants, and bars. Turn left up the main road for a short walk to the square with lots of small shops, bars and a market on fridays. This place is buzzing of an evening. Would we stay in this hotel again? Absolutely, in a heartbeat. Thanks for a really good week.

We've just returned. I travelled with my son and his girlfriend. But I was happy to spend time doing my own thing a lot of the time. I felt very safe in Costa Teguise and this hotel. I had the most relaxing holiday. Everything you need us catered for. It's very clean, the room service was excellent. The food is standard buffet style all-inclusive, and it was plentiful. There was always something I liked. Breakfasts were very good. Never had a problem getting a sunbed. And the little bay across from the hotel is crystal clear waters with plenty of fish to look at. The view from the room was wonderful. I very much hope to go back there at some point. It was a well needed break.

Absolutely 5 out of 5 , especially Tania , thank you to all the Fabulous staff at this beautiful Hotel , I will be back next year , thank you for all you have done for me my special friends ...love you all .. I'm looking forward to coming to my holiday home next year ...I'm very sad I have to leave , in the next 24h till next year .. bye for now ...from Karl xxxxx
