Vitalclass Lanzarote Resort

We booked this hotel as it mentioned it was a a 4 star hotel and wellness resort. However, we are very disappointed. The food is very limited repetitive and very poor quality. Entertainment in the evening is almost non-existent, kids clubs is very very basic.. Although its all inclusive we are limited to one bottle of water a day, and its not cold. The gym is basic and not part of the hotel, its a separate complex. The spa can only be used for a max of one trip for one hour.. We feel cheated by this hotel, it should only have been advertised as a two star max. Don't book or you will be disappointed.

Have had a fantastic 10 days away (15/8/22 - 25/8/22)! Met some fantastic people - Chris & Donna, Alex & Louise to name a few. However, not a place I'd rush back to. Positives- Rooms: never had so much space in an all inclusive room before. Having a suite was certainly better than being squashed in together like in other hotels. Having separate bedrooms was brilliant. We were in room 4002, ground floor and had pool view. Size: we really liked it was a smaller complex. Sunbeds were never a problem. I put this down to the size of the complex. Customer service: couldn't fault it! From day one when we needed towels, lifeguard was quick to get us them. We had a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom, within 10 minutes they had someone out fixing it. When asking for directions of the town etc, reception were brilliant in giving directions on the map. Food: enough choice, sometimes other hotels have too much choice. Enjoyed their Mexican night! Improvements: Swimming pool: main pool needs some maintenance doing, I know there was a man sorting the flooring, but this shouldn't be in my point of view. Flooring around the outside of the pool is rather sharp, not sure what can be done, my advice is wear sandals or flip flops when heading to the bar. Snacks: I personally feel ice creams (even if just the small tubs of ice cream) should be available on AI throughout the day, not just 3pm when the burgers/pizza are available. Entertainment: great variety for adults, magicians, flamenco dancers etc I cannot fault. but the kids entertainment was poor in my view. 30 minutes of the same songs every night. When families are eating at 7pm, I think they need to be entertained much earlier than 8.30pm. Do an hour of entertainment with party games and the kids will love it! The resort itself is a bit out of town. You can walk it in 30 minutes or get a taxi for €3-4. The free bus the hotel puts on, leaves the hotel twice a day. 11:30am & 6pm. All in all a great time a way, just what I needed. 10 days in the sun with the family.

We came home last week from a week's all inclusive at this resort, we arrived late at night and had been travelling since lunchtime. They had put a cold buffet out for us which was salad and bread, it was ok but my partner didn't like anything so had to go to bed hungry. After being in the apartment for just 10 minutes we realised the floors were filthy! See photo, after seeing the cleaners and walking past a mop bucket we soon realised they were washing the floors with dirty water. This seemed to be a theme around the hotel as the floors around the pool were never washed. There were stains on bedding and towels too, ants in the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen and just an overall feel that the hotel was unfinished, paint cracking on walls, missing wood around windows and floors. We also had to mention both showers as the grate was loose and the plastic trim was hanging off, and the bracket for the Blackout curtain was snapped. The showers were sorted but the curtain bracket was bodged. We also paid a visit to the kids softplay room, again floor was filthy, and when you have a bum shuffling toddler it ruins clothes. Also found a staple on the floor! The pools had loose and missing tiles which were being stuck on one morning. Closest shop was 15/20 minutes walk, could really do with a shop onsite. Good points, food was really nice, different meats everyday, the usual cheese, salad, chips and pasta everyday, deserts were lovely. Most of the staff were lovely, just a couple seemed unapproachable. Snacks from 3pm till 6pm were chips burgers and pizza everyday. Games around the pool everyday for the kids or water aerobics. Drinks were ok, not a massive selection on all inclusive though. Splash pool and play area seemed good but we could never get loungers as people were putting towels out before 7am. Overall in my opinion this is not a 4 star hotel, it needs work to be a 4 star. We wouldn't return to this hotel, weve never been to lanzarote before and sadly this experience has kind of put us off returning to the island which is a shame.

We left yesterday - we loved our 10 night stay at this hotel and couldn’t fault it. It is smaller than we are used to but that’s what makes it. The staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful. They are all amazing with kids too. The room was massive and it was so handy having a kitchen in it, especially the fridge! We are a family of 4 and the kids loved this hotel - “best holiday ever” my youngest age 7 said. The splash pool is great for the younger kids, and there is a lovely playground there. The 3 big pools are nice too. My eldest age 10 had a great time too. We went all inclusive. Food was nice, enough choice for us! We would recommend this hotel! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

This was a brilliant experience at this hotel!! Lovely food here with a great choice of different things! Lovely room's, very big and a nice comfy bed. Slow taxis, had to wait 30-mins.. Overall, great hotel most likely to stay again! Friendly and helpful staff here! Everyone seems very happy here:D!

Hotel was good drinks good pools good mainly splash pool and play park for the kids the big minus the food awful for a 4 star hotel very poor nothing in way of carvery apart from veal infact lunch every day was veal dinner every day veal so if you like tough fatty veal you'll love it also can't fault the staff they was all very good and helpful their was a snack station from 3pm until 5pm for burgers only went once as burgers where all cold asked at reception could I order something for dinner for our granddaughter like a proper burger cooked to order was told no because all food is brought in from outside catering so it wasn't possible.
