Having come to the hotel for many years, unfortunately i feel it will be my last visit. The management seem to have lost interest in the hotel after covid, concentrating on their newer hotel. The pool bar has never reopened, there is no arrival drink anymore, there are no cups and saucers in the bedrooms, or iron. You have to ask for these. This should be standard.
The stress of the lack of cot in the room, following requesting one beforehand and checking directly with the hotel, cannot be overstated.
The reception staff are offhand and the rest of the staff stressed and overworked, with the same faces appearing from breakfast to night.
The large rise in price point over the last years is understandable due to economic factors, and even the lack of general refurbishment is acceptable as the hotel is clean, but its the erosion of the extra services that are deemed a necessity in 4 star hotels of this calibre that is undermining it, as they go increasingly down the all inclusive market.
