Pictures look nice, needs attention to detail work and it could be good. The value is okay for the area but missed the mark on a few areas.

What a delightful find.!! Absolutely a home away from home. John and Carol along with the hospitality pups made us feel like extended family. Visited the beginning of December, the cottonwood trees had brown leaves but were still beautiful. The property is quiet and peaceful. The rooms were extremely comfortable. Breakfast cooked by John was yummy!! Highly recommend for a quick get away anytime in the ABQ area. Will definitely return when going back to ABQ.

Morning Star is an incredibly beautiful place on a pastoral acreage in the historic village of Corrales, NM. The grounds are stunning. The inn itself, a charming example of northern NM architecture and craftsmanship is comfortable and warm. Our room, looking directly out to the beautiful pool could not have been better. We loved dining with the other guests (food was exceptional) which were a couple and their daughter from the UK and a lovely couple from NJ. The wife was Bavarian and we recounted our favorite beer gardens for hours. If you are not familiar with the "bosque" along the Rio Grande river, it is an amazingly beautiful greenbelt of ancient cottonwood tree, expansive lawns and tiny farms that date back centuries. John and Carol, the owners, are lovely, well informed and fun to hang with. Go there.

Carol and John are the most wonderful and hospitable hosts! They make the property even more charming - staying here for a few days before I headed out of town was such a welcome. When I left I felt as if I were staying with family - it's that cozy. John made the tastiest breakfasts and they were just the sweetest couple. My room was extremely comfortable and spacious and the grounds were so peaceful and quiet. It's in a great location too - close to where the wineries and farms are yet convenient to eateries and coffee shops as well.

The house and outdoor areas are so relaxing. Many different areas to sit and look out into nature. The house is decorated beautifully and we felt very welcome and comfortable staying in the suite. John and Carol work so hard to provide home made breakfast, happy memories, friendship, and advice on what to do or where to go. The pool was our favorite after a long day of traveling or working. Meeting the other guests was also fun and provided just enough socialization. We did not feel pressure to talk if we didn’t want to. Everyone was relaxed and did there own thing. We loved this property and all the people in it! Walking into town in the early mornings was something I did as well. You will not be disappointed! You will walk in as strangers and walk out feeling like family. Thank you John and Carol for making this trip for my mom and I. ❤️❤️🩹🥰

We were in town to visit family, and Morning Star gave us some much needed privacy. We were in the suite with the bathtub, and while we enjoyed our stay ai should say that if you are the least but shaky on your feet (we are not) get a different room. The tub is big enough for two and is also the shower pan, but you need to clear a knee high barrier that is a foot wide, so keep that in mind. Lovely location.

Instead of staying with family or at a local area hotel we decided to try our first stay in a B&B (4 nights) in many years. What a treat!
The inn's hosts Carrol & John are very warm and welcoming and really care about their guests. Our room was large, very comfortable with a very large bathroom and dressing area. Plenty of storage space for clothing and suitcases. Carrol has an interior design and architecture background and it shows in how comfortable the Inn is.
John's breakfasts are the perfect way to start the day. He and Carrol are happy to join you around the table with other guests and chat or leave you alone to yourselves. We enjoyed their company as did the others.
The Inn's grounds are wonderful and relaxing by the large pool is a delight. This will be our go to place to stay when visiting this area again!
Carrol and John, thanks again for your hospitality.

Beautiful house, comfy bed, delicious breakfasts, and interesting conversations amidst beautiful old cottonwood trees and beautiful flowers. What more could we ask for? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a safe location away from the hubbub of Albuquerque with excellent restaurants nearby.
