Het terrein ziet er best leuk uit, maar de huisjes zijn zeer basic. Ronkend koelkastje maar verder is er geen keukengerei aanwezig. Niet eens een glas voor je drankje uit de koelkast. Het ontbijt is van 7-10 uur, maar als je om 9 uur komt ontbijten is het verse brood op. De onvriendelijke receptioniste geeft aan dat het zo nog wordt aangevuld, maar helaas niks gezien. De kaasjes en vleesjes kun je alleen op voorverpakt tostibrood doen. Verder is ontbijt best OK, maar geen vers brood als je na 9 u komt is heel matig. Bij het zwembad geldt de vreemde regel dat je als gast van een van de huisjes, niet op de bedjes langs het zwembad mag liggen (die zijn kennelijk gereserveerd voor de daggasten van het zwembad). Wij moeten een stuk verder liggen. De 2 lifeguards praten geen woord Engels dus communicatie is lastig. Ondanks dat het best leuk gelegen is, kiezen wij volgende keer voor een betere prijs/kwaliteit verhouding elders.

Having travelled quite significantly I have to say this hotel is in the bottom two! Firstly the hotel was booked based on pictures via the internet. Sadly they were very untrue. The pool had been drained and was inhabited by frogs and spawn and the room so so basic. No tea and coffee facilities, two single beds pushed together, and extremely dated furnishings. Staff at a minimum however those based on reception were very very good. The breakfast offering very basic indeed, hardly anything available.

LOCATION MERAVIGLIOSA, TUTTO BEN CURATO ED ELEGANTE. ENORME SPAZIO PER IL PARCHEGGIO. STANZA ACCOGLIENTE E BEN PULITA, CIBO ABBONDANTE E OTTIMO. PERSONALE CORDIALE, DISPONIBILE. LO CONSIGLIERÒ A TANTE PERSONE.

We booked this as part of a Secret Escapes package. The reviews we read were mixed, and in particular the staff have come in for some criticism. Our experience was totally to the contrary. We found the staff professional and polite. Very good hosts. In particular, the night porter Luca managed to somehow feed us when we first arrived at 11.30pm, long after the restaurant closed. He's a special guy. The room was impeccably clean. Recommended!

the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room. The staff in the restaurant were not great on understanding or speaking English. There is a huge pool, but everyone is required to wear a swimming hat. We did not go in:(

This is a really tired and dated hotel by today's standards. Externally it looks great, but internally it is very basic. A few details about our room; Hardly any plug sockets Air con either on or off (no options) Wifi wasn’t working in bedroom, only reception/dining room (Room 206) TV not working. Asked twice - fixed 2 days later. No wifi so no Netflix etc. Noisy fridge all day/night Shower jets don’t work but instant hot water Other points; Very basic breakfast - don’t expect eggs of any kind! Remote location - a car is essential All staff speak very limited English, if any No one at reception Sunday evening or at 7am next morning. The breakfast guy took 1/2 hour to check us out due to the language barrier. Swimming caps needed for hotel pool €4 each from reception Best bits; The restaurant was amazing. Fabulous food and wine. We were given free 5-course meal on arrival (drinks not included). Lovely pool. Gets noisy though when the local kids arrive. Suggestion for hotel; Provide some guidance for international guests in the form of a small booklet (in a few languages) in each room.

The place is really nice. The pool is big and the rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms are huge. The restaurant is quite tasty . The breakfast included both salty and sweet stuff. However the pool is opened for guests outside the hotel and quite often it can get pretty loud with teenagers and they also host quite a lot of parties there. The bathrooms could use some restructuring (shower hose hanger broken and hydro-massage not working) All in all the area is fantastic and really relaxing and we had an awesome time
