My husband and me enjoyed our stay, The room was clean, lots of room, comfortable, and quiet. You also gave us wifi and plenty of outlets,. The place is quaint and a bit nostalgic, it reminded me of family vacations in the 50's

We were locked into our room with a broken dead bolt lock. Eventually was able to open. Word to the wise... don't use the dead bolt.

We enjoyed our stay at A Western Rose. We were greeted by a friendly person at the front desk. Our room was clean. We were close enough to restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We were there on our motorcycle and were offered a spot to wash our bike. That’s a first for us! All in all a good experience.

I’ll admit, I was a little nervous pulling off the main drag and into the motel, considering if I should stay elsewhere. I’m so very glad I gave A Western Rose a chance! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the room was more comfortable than I expected. My only regret was not looking at the brand of pillows they used - and speaking of pillows, they give you a variety to choose from, unlike so many other places.
My only two wishes for improvement would be additional locks on the doors and curtains that close properly. Otherwise, this is a gem!

This hotel is a budget friendly option that exceeded my families expectations in how nice the beds and room were, and in cleanliness. We were very happy with our stay and absolutely would again.

Checking in I told the owner I had a bike & she gave me a disk to put under the kickstand. I said I don't need it because of the sidecar & she said she used to ride in one. Then she told me there is a bike wash area with hose, bucket, soap and rags. The room was nice with enough outlets to charge all our devices. I was given a map of Yellowstone and the time to get to various places explained. I was told of the shoot out at the Irma Hotel. If I go to Cody again I will definitely stay here again.

No hot water for showers - we tried twice in the evening and once in the morning. Cold from the start in the evening, lukewarm at first in morning but then ice cold. Window AC was old and sounded like a plane taking off, not restful at all. Cleanliness good but hotel is a bit dated for the price. Would not stay here again.

The young woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful. This property is old and needs some repairs. The tub in the bathroom would not drain. My friend's room next door had laminate off the vanity. The vinyl/plastic baseboard was pulled away from wall and going into bathroom. It was full of dirt and caused concern as to whether bugs might be hiding there.There had been glass sliding doors at the tub, which had been removed and the upper frame left on which the shower curtain was hung. Avoid room 117. Room 118 was somewhat better and bigger.
