I spend about 75 nights a year on the road for business and I’ve been coming to the Desmond for approximately 25 years. It is always been wonderful comfortable excellent food excellent service.
I was happy to say that I find change of ownership has not changed the quality of the Desmond

Staff was wonderful. Food was surprisingly good for a hotel. It's a very busy hotel with a lot of convensions going on which was a little off putting. Convenient to the airport.

My husband and I stayed at the Desmond for 1 night, we loved everything but the refrigerator was a little tricky to find, it blended in with the furniture and also we had to purchase a bottle water, usually at other hotels we have been to 1 bottle or water is complimentary.

I didn’t like that there was no microwave in the room, otherwise, the room was nice and I enjoyed my stay. The food at Mr. D’s was very good!! P

Lots of space options for mtgs and events. Not a fan of a room facing the inside courtyard. But love the fountain for aesthetics and sound dulling. Restaurant was good but not many GF options. Friendly staff.
