The lodge is under renovation, which this was not disclosed upon reservation. The main restaurant was not open for dinner; we had to order room service which came 30 mins late with cold food due to the staff being overwhelmed. Additionally, a water main broke, which resulted in all guests being evacuated from the lodge around 10pm for 30 minutes to wait outside in below freezing weather. Management never addressed this issue with us or provided any apology or compensation. Following the broken water pipe, we never had proper hot water in our room for the remainder of our stay.

Shower curtain with mold all over it, towels left out all over pool area frozen to the ground, dangerous, no where to walk bc it’s icy, no microwave or fridge in room even tho that was promised. 2 large containers of hot chocolate empty, so we had noting to drink while waiting hours for a room, and it’s dark outside. Waited 4 hours after check in time to get a room. Chaotic and crazy in the lobby. Jets broken on hot tub but you don’t know until you go out there in 1 degree weather.

We really liked the surrounding area and outdoor recreation options.
However, check-in was long and our room was not ready and available until 5:50. Also, our dinner, in the dining room, was sub-optimal, there was just no taste to the dish. Our breakfast, in the dining room, was excellent! Not sure what the difference was.

Broken elevator, long waits. Pool doesn’t open for kids til 10am. There was a bandaid in the steam room and pool area was dirty.

Underwhelmed. Booked a one night stay for my kids and I during break to swim and enjoy the resort. Nice building and spacious rooms however EVERY amenity at this hotel costs extra, it’s ridiculous. Morning yoga $15, ice skating $12, a kids indoor play space $65 (literally a conference room with 3 board games, cornhole and a small bounce house!!) The outdoor pool is cold and the indoor pool was closed-the whole reason we came! Check in isn’t until 4 and check out is at 11. We were there less than 24hrs and spent over $600. This place isn’t worth it.

Overall we loved our stay here but… we reserved a studio, but got a bedroom and had to go chance it to what we reserved and what we payed for. But it’s okay there wasn’t a problem to change to a different room but had some discomfort packing and unpacking. But the fact that restaurant is closed during the week till 5 pm only bar, and on the weekends only like what’s?! We payed and you guys treat us differently than the guest that comes on the weekends?! That’s not really fair… and the other thing, the ice rink is fake this year and we paid $20 each and there was 3 of was and nobody told us the rink is face so we went on it and could even walk, so had to get out of it in couple seconds and nobody refunded us anything. They told us they will give us a call but didn’t happen. And when you check out of hotel they charge $30 for the resort fee and even tho when I was reserving it would say that you paid everything, and when we were doing check in nobody told us anything about the fee. Have been to this place so many times, but this time really disappointed me… but the stuff in pool area was great.

My wife and I stayed here for a relaxing trip and getaway during our anniversary weekend and we sure received it!
Service and check in was great. The atmosphere and scenery are amazing. The rooms were nice and cozy especially with the fireplace.
The only downside I would say is the bathroom. The toilet would not stop running. You would have to keep on fiddling with the handle for it to finally stop. It took about 5min or more for the faucet water to turn warm. And the worst part of all was the shower tub did not drain! We had to stand in shower water up to our ankles while showering. And yes we did have the drain open. It was just a VERY VERY slow drain.
So although that wasn't a pleasant experience, the rest of experience was amazing. I just hope not all of the rooms have these bathroom issues.

We like our stay, and a view from our room was breathtaking. We enjoyed walking with kids on a trails, like to enjoy fire in winter weather, food in hotel restaurants was so good 😊. Two things that we have been disappointed with: it that our room wasn’t clean well (specifically bathroom), and this hotel doesn’t have indoor pool even website says opposite. There is a pool outdoor next to the hotel with a warm water or indoor pool in a different building. We had to walk to it 3-5 minutes with kids, or wait shuttle for 20-25 minutes. This was really inconvenient.
