The attitude of check in and out staff member changed dramatically. I asked to extend separately the next night, Sunday since I would be working extra hours on Sunday.
I didn't sense an issue.
Sunday, I asked about the stay - since the room curtains were set open, and no "privacy card" was on the outside of the door. I didn't receive any calls or notice. The same desk clerk seemed irritated and said since I booked online that she couldn't extend the stay, and that they room had been cleared on day shift (without any word.)
There were only 5 cars in front of rooms, and this was about 7 p.m. so it wasn't sold out. No indication she would make a room available was made; and made it a point to say a 2nd time, I had booked the room online, and she couldn't extend the stay. I left the room card, and thanked her any ways. I don't plan to stay at Green Tree, or likely Best Western again.
