In 2023, I stayed at this hotel because the other rooms were full. I felt good, so I booked to stay again this time. This time, the service dropped, but since the price is not too expensive, it is considered okay. The breakfast here is not much. They should improve the rice porridge a lot. The taste is not good and the rice porridge is cold, not hot, making the food not charming. All the restaurant staff are very good. The coffee is delicious.

I stayed here a few times before and love it here. I am happy to see that they can make it looks as good as what I have in my memories, after the big floods. The river may not be the most beautiful river but the landscapes of the hotel gave a very good complement to it. Breakfast was very good, as always.

The room is clean, spacious, comfortable, the bed is ok, and the clothes closet is just right. Washing shelves There is a lot of space to put things in the bathroom and the water pressure is good. There is a sink. Another one in the back, the air conditioner is cool, but the sound of walking and closing doors in the next room is a bit loud. Water flowing down the drain is a bit noisy. There are few parking spots, under the hotel, a little difficult to park. Overall ok, cheap price, recommended to sleep alone or with friends or girlfriend, The Gang is ok.

The hotel is very clean and small and fresh. The home appliances are new and also famous brands such as Samsung Pine Nuts. It seems that the decoration is very willing. The downside is that the front desk service is not 24 hours. We want to check out at 6 o'clock is completely self-service. This should be classified as a homestay.

My girlfriend and I drive to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai every two months to visit her parents. As a result I have stayed in almost EVERY hotel within a 45 minute drive of Phan and all have disappointed this fussy Westerner. That is until I stayed at The White House Boutique Resort. I was a little worried to stay here when I read the last review but that was in 2020 when it was obviously being built or refurbished because now it is excellent. I think all the rooms overlook a cute pond with mountain views in the background. Our room was unusual (in line with the boutique description) and more like a little one bedroom house. It was spotlessly clean, the towels were new-looking, the bed linen was very comfortable and clean (and I am very fussy about pristine cotton sheets) and the beds were very comfortable. We were late arriving due to shopping with parents but the duty manager gave us a call to check we were ok which I thought was nice. He helped us with our bags to our room and checked what time we wanted our breakfast delivered to our room! (yes it is brought on a tray to your room!) As you can see from the photo, it is a giant breakfast and we asked only for basic tea coffee and toast! It was all lovely. The biggest and best surprise for me was the ice cold air conditioning! I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand over the last 18 months and I have noticed that there is definitely a propensity for hotels to limit the controls on air conditioning units so you are still sweating with your bed. Not this place, I had a great nights sleep thanks to the White House. My girlfriend and I will be returning every two months so I might see you there! : )
