Having lived near Wolverhampton for 29 years until April 2024, I never had cause to visit this hotel, restaurant or bar, but that was clearly my loss. Hospitality is an extremely demanding sector, and recruiting the right people across a large operation must be very challenging, but whoever handles the HR side here really does know what they're doing. Everyone I met, from receptionists to cleaners, from restaurant staff to the effervescent folk running the Beefeater, was right at the top of their game, even though the hotel was packed. The breakfasts were excellent, not least as the servers deliberately placed small amounts of hot food in the containers, and then worked hard to top them up, rather than (as often) piling the dishes high and going for a natter. However, the highlight of my stay was the bar, not because of the beer (though that was fine), but in terms of service standards and atmosphere. It was clear that a significant number of locals were present and it genuinely felt like a proper 'local', rather than just a standard hotel bar. Inevitably, the area was crowded, but as elsewhere, the staff were very efficient, so no-one waited to be served for more than a minute or so, and the tables/chairs were very swiftly wiped down as customers left. I was already composing a five-star review in my mind, and when I saw a lovely tribute to a former staff member behind the bar, I wondered if I could give this Beefeater a 'bonus' star. In my many years of visiting Premier Inns, this was a Beefeater like no other.

We stayed my brothers wedding we stayed for 3nights and we had an amazing time in the room with our boys , the staff at the hotel where polite, friendly and very helpful. 10/10 for comfort 10/10 welcoming 10/10 service. Will definitely come again. Lee yates

The welcoming atmosphere created a truly pleasant experience for all and the friendly service enhanced the overall positive impression. High standards of cleanliness were evident throughout stay and rvery detail seemed carefully considered to ensure comfort and fitted our needs. It was a genuinely delightful visit from start to finish.

Room dated, paint peeling around door frames, no glasses in bathroom, no telephone had to go to reception for everything on one chair when room can sleep 3 shouldn't have to sit on a bed only 1 small and 1 large towel when booking was for 2 people again would need to go to reception to collect also after travelling hundreds of miles if you arrive before 3pm you have to pay £10 if you dont pay you either stay in the car or go to the beefeater, again unacceptable if they want to have guests return

I have stayed in several Premier Inns, most are usually quite good. This Wolverhampton North Premier Inn would be the worst one I have ever stayed in! The walls were so thin I can hear footsteps all day and night from the corridor and room above. There was only one towel in a triple room. The sink tap was constantly on hot, cannot turn cold. A hazard for children!
