2 night stay. No kitchen staff for both breakfasts. 1st morning told to use local cafe and pub paid the bill. 2nd morning only offered cereal and toast. Disappointing because food in the restaurant in the evening was lovely. Our room was spacious and the bathroom with shower cubicle was spot on.

It is central to Chumley, pleasant staff, good ale.
Cold at night, (limited heating and poor insulation) very noisy on a Saturday until the the late hours. (entertainment area right outside bedroom) Food was very poor. No staff available outside of opening hours. (Had to leave without finalising food bill as no staff available). Breakfast served in another establishment (short walk)

Had a lovely meal with the fay While staying near here. Service was very good and they are extremely dog friendly. Could fault nothing with the food, all freshly prepared and served with a smile. Will be going back to try some of the other options when we are back in the area.

We had THE best Sunday lunch, the warm welcome was a breath of fresh air and the service was fab. It was so good we went back for baguette lunch 2 days later - was sooooo good. 100% recommend. We’d definitely go back when we’re in the area again.

Walked in on the off-chance after long journey to rural campsite, on Good Friday. It was busy but staff very welcoming nonetheless. Got us a table right in the thick of it where you wanna be on a Friday night. Live music was great foot stamping stuff, menu was brilliant, I could've eaten all of it, food was delicious, beer was perfect, overall superb a**osphere. A pleasure to find a real country pub that exists and hasn't gone all "gastro" but stuck to it's roots and has a friendly local crowd as a result. Thumbs up!
