Poseidon of Paros Hotel & Spa

Beautiful Hotel with lovely staff. The beach is minute walk. We would highly recommend. Pool area was lovely with nice drinks in the evening. Both breakfast and dinner was great and if you are a tennis player they have a spectacular tennis court.

Wunderbarer Empfang bei der Ankunft! Man merkte dort schon den 5* Service, aber auf einem „casusl-Level“, das ist sehr sympathisch. Das Personal sportlich-elegant gekleidet, das fanden wir sehr passend. Alle waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück sehr lecker, einzig auf die Wassermelone und French-Toast mussten wir immer etwas warten, aber wir haben ja Ferien und haben Zeit. Das Zimmer für 2 Erwachsene und ein Teenager sehr gross und mit wenig Möbel hatten wir wunderbar Platz die Koffer am Boden liegen zu lassen (wir waren nur 4 Nächte dort). Das Meer dort ist super-schön, es hat einen Steg und konnte von dort ins glasklare Wasser springen (mein Mann hat dort eine Schildkröte angetroffen). Es hat 2 Pool, wir haben keinen genutzt weil wir am Meer immer im Meer baden. Due ganze Anlage war sehr sauber. Einzig die Aussenstation der Klimaanlage war bei uns auf dem Balkon, dort kam immer sehr warme Luft raus, darum konnten wir nie auf den Balkon. Schade, da wir eine super Aussicht hatten. Dieses Teil gehört auf das Dach, auch optisch nicht schön. Da WiFi (wichtig mit Teenager) immer gut.

This hotel is beautiful and in excellent condition. The nearby beach is an excellent thing. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant is nice as there’s nothing very close by, although somewhat near a bus stop. We greatly appreciated how nice all of the staff was and were amazed by the housekeeping and nightly “turn down” service. The shuttle from the port to the hotel was a great experience (additional cost). The hotel even helped us get a rental car and it was delivered to the hotel! We were able to return it to the port as we were taking a ferry when departing the island. Beautiful hotel in an upcoming area of the island and right next to one of the best beaches on the island.

L emplacement de l hôtel est idyllique les jardins sont superbes il est extrêmement bien positionné pour une visite de l ile de Paros en voiture. Il faut savoir que cet hôtel est en travaux d extension, ce qui gache beaucoup le cadre. Nous avons été hébergés dans la partie terminée de l extension. La vue sur les travaux de droite et de gauche laisse un goût amer. La décoration de l hôtel est particulière. Le personnel est tout juste gracieux et semble se forcer pour répondre à nos questions. Aucun effort pour se mettre à la disposition de français parlant peu l anglais pour un 5 étoiles 😔. Le petit déjeuner est correct mais pas au niveau d un 5 étoiles. Sur la plage il faut payer les transats 20 euros cela reste cher. Nous avons pris un dîner qui n à pas laissé de souvenir inoubliable. Il est préférable de louer une voiture pour se rendre à quelques kms à pisso livadi petit port avec des restaurants sympas. La salle de fytness est minuscule sombre et ne donne pas envie. Les piscines ne sont pas chauffées. Il n y a que le prix qui soit d un niveau 5 étoiles.

Cet hôtel ne répond absolument pas aux standards d'un 5 étoiles. Petit déjeuner restreint avec très peu de choix et des viennoiseries sèches. Obligés d'attendre 15 minutes qu'une personne daigne enfin venir nous voir afin de pouvoir commander du café au petit déjeuner. La chambre est extrêmement décevante : très sombre, douche très petite, vue gâchée par la grille du terrain de tennis. Les draps du lit sont froissés et personne ne prend la peine de remettre les oreillers déposés à terre lors du ménage ! Personnel hautain qui cherche à vendre des services supplémentaires. Nous n'y retournerons pas et sommes extrêmement déçus vu le prix excessif

We stayed at Poseidon based on a friend’s recommendation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by wonderful staff. They gave us a tour along with a welcome drink. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We had lovely views of the ocean and pool area. Grounds are kept clean and very pretty. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and the staff was on top of everyone. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel was it was the worst sleep I had. The mattresses were not comfy and the pillows were terrible but besides that it’s a lovely place to stay if you have a car and you don’t need to be in the center of everything.

My family of four spent part of our Greece vacation at Poseidon of Paros in July 2022. We enjoyed our stay overall. Here are some observations: The facilities are great. The pool and beach area are lovely. Our room was spectacular and had amazing views. The pool, while lovely, is super cold. I would suggest some sort of solar heating set-up. Not many people were using the pool and I suspect it was due to the chilly nature. The location may divide people: I enjoyed the remote location but other people may want more amenities within walking distance. The staff could use some training to be a bit more friendly and proactive. Each night for dinner, we were immediately asked "do you have a reservation?" instead of "good evening, welcome..." (and the restaurant was empty anyway). And when I asked at the front desk if there was a place nearby where I could purchase sunblock, the staff person was polite but very unhelpful (I later found a small shop within walking distance -- does the staff not know where the local shops are??). This similar observation was made in a June 2022 review by Max E, so I know this is an issue for other guests as well. The laundry was very very expensive at this hotel. My mistake. Our lovely hotel in Naxos did laundry at a reasonable price so I assumed that was the going rate in these islands -- not so at Poseidon -- it was too expensive. Although the clothes did smell nice when they were returned. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There are cats all over the property yet a staff person scolded my child for petting one. Really? If cats are a problem, get rid of them, but telling a kid not to pet a cat when there are cats all over the place is unfriendly. Overall, a nice visit, but the owners could really have a staff seminar to demonstrate how to be more welcoming to guests and be helpful in meeting their needs. Lower the laundry cost and heat that pool a bit and they are on the way to 5 stars!

Paros Il posto è sicuramente meraviglioso,rilassante. I ragazzi al ristorante ed al bar sono veramente eccezionali,non posso dire altrettanto dell’accoglienza in reception non certamente da cinque stelle! Anche le camere dovrebbero essere riviste.
