I made 3 mistakes that cost me that night:
#1. Chosen the wrong apps.
#2. Assuming that when I used the same apps to book previous trips, that it would stay in same currency(Canadian) on booking by a Canadian in Canada for a Canadian hotel, but it was in US dollars, this time.
#3. I needed to use my earned trip Coins
to cover the costs including the security deposit, then I was not able to cancel ( even 10 minutes after booking )
As a results Trips.com advised me that I have to accept the booking, 3 hours later.
I had to abandon the booking and my 326 dollars because I can not cover the security deposit. I did learned a lesson.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn in Chilliwack. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in walking distance to the local mall, as well as a cinema across the street. We found the breakfast quite good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Megan the receptionist.

I want a refund for a nights stay I did not stay for because the room I got from ******* was t a pet friendly room when I picked pet friendly filter

The property was conveniently close (within 3.5 km) of where I wanted to go. The staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The only knock I have is that one has to walk out to the street (about 50 meters) to get around the fence between it and the restaurant located within 15 meters of the front entrance. Maybe the two property owners should get together to build a gate through the fence to allow hotel guests easier access to lunch and dinner.

They would not allow us to stay there because they do not let people that live in Chilliwack stay at their hotel , with no explanation why .I tried to explain to them that we were seniors , sold our house and could not move into our new one until the next day , they also would not refund me our payment they said i had to go through Travelocity to get my money back

It was in an excellent location for where we needed to be. Although we didn’t need it our room was accessible. The bathroom was good for a wheelchair but needed some counter space for toiletries and accessories. The bed/sitting room would be difficult to manoeuvre in a wheelchair.

A couple of hours before we were to check in they called me to tell me, people with Chilliwack addresses were not allowed to stay at the Comfort Inn she would not give a reason why and even though I explained to her that we had sold our house and didn't take possession until tomorrow and needed somewhere to stay she still said NO and if I wanted my money back I had to go through you as they would not give it me back
