Premier Inn Wirral (Childer Thornton)

Hoping for a good night's rest before travelling back over 200 miles. Woken by kids screaming and playing loudly at 5am on the Sunday morning. Couldn't sleep through this so had to leave the hotel and travel home.

Had a good 2 days here very helpful on the Friday were 2 of our b&b cancelled not fult of my own there no were ealse to stay very kind lady on the disk can't rember her name Friday 12 April

Got what I expected, cheap hotel, a bit run down, wifi not great, good location for Chester zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium. Also close to places for evening meal and shopping. Nice staff and decent breakfast.

Inaccessible. Bluebadge spaces a long way from Reception. The walk there is on uneven pavement with hidden dips. Very unsafe. Sign for Bluebadge parking lying on ground. Inaccessible to wheelchair users and mobility Impaired guests. A disgrace. Avoid this hotel. Premierinn needs to urgently update.

The phone reception and WIFI were terrible, the food in the restaurant was not good but JUST about edible after complaining when I did not receive what I ordered, I will pick an alternative Premier Inn next time I am staying in the area

This hotel is in desperate need of some TLC, the beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. The bathroom smelled of urine and had urine stains around the skirtings near the toilet, as well as mould around the bath, there was also flakey paint and damp in a corner of the room. The final straw for us was at breakfast there was someone dusting the architraves right above the food, we watched dust fall right onto the food 🤮 we checked out straight after, unfortunately there was no one at reception on checkout to tell about our issues. We definitely won’t be staying here again, and I hope premier inn make some inves**ent in this hotel very soon! The only reason I’ve given a 2 and not 1 was the friendly staff, the only saving grace this place has.

Stayed 3 nights. The staff at the actual hotel are excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. WiFi bit iffy (main building/reception) dips in and out but not massive issue. Beds nice and comfortable. A big shout out to Loiuse / reception or Michelle? (sorry cant quite remember!) the Night staff David and Sarah too. Also a massive 'well done' to young Heather who worked solo on the bar while we were there, and really could have done with some help ...Very busy on bar/food, couldn't get served for ages, but Heather was so good coping with the constant queues!. Overall a nice stay, just extra staff in restaurant/bar seems sorely needed, but understandable in this climate! Would stay again.

Good quality beds, room a good size and very clean. Receptionists very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very powerful shower. Room was always warm. Close to all amenities. Restaurant has soft play that's open during the evenings, breakfast is very tasty with a good variety. We will definitely be staying again when we next visit.

We stayed for my daughter's birthday, the locations great for shopping at Cheshire Oakes. The staff were amazing and made my daughter feel very special, happy to stay again, the room was a good size, nice and clean. We ate out in the evenings fir birthday celebrations so can't comment on the attached restaurant but did enjoy the breakfast.
