The hotel is in a great location! Close to main attractions and lots of restaurants! Main staff was not very friendly. Hotel is beautiful when you enter. Rooms are very old and need updating. The toilet in my bathroom had a corroded tank and a broken lever. That was a bit frustrating. Bed was very hard!! Room was very cold! Only one thermostat for the entire hotel. There is no individual thermostat in each room. Had to ask for extra blankets. They did provide that for me. The fitness room is very nice! Every thing you need to have a really good workout! They indicated they are in the process of renovating rooms. They’ve just not completed that project yet. I would stay there again if the price was right. Hopefully next time I’ll get an updated room!

I stayed here for one night using 50,000 H Honors rewards and loved it. Check in was fast and friendly. Wifi is fast and reliable. Be sure to push hard on the door to open your room since it's a new door it's still kinda stiff no big deal but I figured it out! Also when getting on the right elevator make sure you use the right one since they share this property with another Hilton brand hotel here. Angela the manager was nice enough to send me a text to ask if everything was ok! That is service above and beyond what is expected! Kudos to her great customer service! The King deluxe city view room was huge! it felt like more like being in an apartment. Microwave and fridge were very convenient. The bed and pillows were super soft. The area is kind of quiet at night since it's a business district but the good thing about that is that it's quiet at night and right next door to the Willis Tower aka ”Sears Tower!” I highly recommend a visit up to the 360 observation deck. The closest restaurant that was open past 6pm was Giordanos. I had the Italian beef sandwich add cheese and it was amazing! It's right across the street. The orange line is only 1 block away right across from Giordanos and it takes you to Midway Airport in less than 30 minutes. If I am in this part of Chicago again I would definitely stay here! This time it was quite unexpected. I have lived a few times in the previous holiday inn. The room card went to the front desk for three times. When I was sleeping at night, someone actually opened my room. Later, the waiter also opened, and finally confirmed the check-in information the day before yesterday. In addition, when I checked in, I got 50 knives. I originally paid the money through Ctrip. I don't know if I will return later! Is it not a deposit?

It was a very relaxed day and night. The service was very nice everybody was so welcoming. The breakfast was not that good for the price I made with the night of the hotel. Coffee was watery

We got lucky and got an okay room with no significant health violations. The facilities are very dated but we expected that by reading the reviews. One alarming factor was that the locks did not work at all. The check-in was okay, but the receptionist was not very communicative.

Overall: We had a great time staying in this hotel. Would recommend to all family & friends (+) Location: Good. Walking distance between 10-15mins to Michigan Ave, Riverwalk, & places of interest. A supermarket next door & Whole Food Market around the corner. Took 10 mins cab ride from Union train Station to the hotel. Staff: Friendly, polite, helpful staffs. Room Amenities: clean, comfy beds, complete with toiletries, coffee maker, fridge, iron, hairdryer. (-) No microwave & no drinking water bottle provided. Unless there’s water dispenser provide at corridor which were unaware. Was looking for signage.

I visited the Warwick Allerton with a group of friends over a three night stay. The hotel is older, in the midst of a remodel. Our room was fine, appeared to be remodeled. It was clean, comfortable bed and furniture. Housekeeping had to be scheduled and we ran out of toilet paper before the scheduled service. Additionally our wifi was continually disconnecting. Alicia from the front desk offered to come up to our room, reset our wifi and delivered 2 rolls of toilet paper. She arrived within minutes of me talking to her. She was friendly and very helpful. The hotel charges a $15.00 daily service fee. The restaurant was closed for remodeling and there was no food on the premises. There may have been a gym, which we did not use. I fail to see the benefits of the facility fee and would rather just have the room charge be higher if the hotel needs to make a higher profit on the rooms. The hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. The valet service was also efficient.

This is probably one of the best hostels I've stayed at in the U.S. I've stayed at this hostel twice now. The first time was in 2015 and the second time this past month for Market Days. Location: The hostel is centrally located in Downtown Chicago/the Loop. It's easily accessible to get to and from O'Hare Airport via the Blue Line which runs 24 hours. The closest CTA station is Jackson Station which also has connections to many other CTA lines. The hostel is also located within walking distance to many other tourist hotspots like Millennium Park, Broadway shows, Lou Malnati's Pizza (10 minutes), etc. There's also a CVS Pharmacy at the corner of the street that sells liquor and other essentials. On the weekday, the area is bustling with downtown workers, but on the weekends, it's like a ghost town. Most restaurants and stores close by 8/9pm. The only place to eat at if you have a late night is Taco Bell which closes at 2am. Another downside is that there are a lot of homeless people that have set up camp in front and around the hostel, so some people may feel unsafe walking around. Security: The property is very secure. There are multiple entry points to get into the hostel with a key card. There's another entry point to get access to the elevator banks that lead to the rooms as well as required card access to go upstairs and into the rooms. There's also a 24-hour front desk. This was a saving grace for me because my flight from New York was delayed that I ended up arriving at 3:30am. Keep in mind, if you plan to arrive after 3am, you should notify/call the front desk and let them know otherwise they'll mark you as a no-show and cancel your reservation. They also have storage lockers/a luggage room for a fee. Facilities/Amenities: My original reservation was for a 4-bed male dormitory, but there was someone sleeping in my assigned bunk. When you arrive, there is a fitted sheet, pillow sheets, a bath towel, and a face towel (no comforter). You are expected to make your bed. Since I arrived so late and my roommates were already asleep, the overnight staff (DJ) was nice enough to put me in an 8-bed dormitory that was unoccupied, so that I didn't wake up anyone. Both rooms were very spacious/high ceilings/massive windows with a lot of space to store luggage and walk around. All the rooms have lockers (bring your own lock or buy one at the front desk). In the 4-bed dorm, there is a common area with a kitchen/bathroom that connects with 2 suites. The 8-bed room is setup where the toilet, shower, and sink are all in separate areas instead of all in one room. The shower area has dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There are also common showers and toilets on every floor. The downside of the dormitory is that you can't control the temperature of the room. Summers in Chicago are hot and humid and the room was kept in the 60s, which I loved. But, my roommates thought it was too cold for them. The WiFi access is very stable and fast. Th

The small fridge in the room automatically shuts off after 2 hrs and doesn't stay at a safe temperature to store breast milk. The front desk advised to just use an ice bucket. This is problematic because (1) you will have to continually refill the ice bucket and (2) there is limited capacity. After an escalation to the manager, they offered to hold my milk behind the front desk in their fridge. I am not comfortable with that ”solution” nor do I want to go back and forth to the front desk for my baby's bottles and milk storage. He advised they previously provided medical fridges but they currently do not do so. I am so beyond disappointed. I expected so much more from this brand and now have to figure out something to do with my milk for my exclusively breast fed baby. Ugh, don't they have mother's stay at this property!? Marriott, do better!

The hotel location is excellent, not only is very close to Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, Millennium Park can be reached on foot. The breakfast at the hotel was great and I especially liked their muffins. The taste was amazing. Although the room was small, it was enough for two people and it was clean. There is free coffee all day, the staff is very warm and thoughtful, in short, a very good stay experience, next time I go to Chicago to play, I will choose to live here!
