Orange Hotel Wenhua

Would stay again and recommend to others when visiting the area! Really nice to provide a little birthday gift of lotion, facial wash and conditioner for my mum. Loved their orange scent used in hand-wash. Location was superb with many food options and convenience stores nearby plus walkable distance to WenHua Night Market. Aircon was strong, bedding was comfortable and loved the hot tub! Only negative was sometimes room cleaning wasn't done thoroughly as cups was unwashed and lift and lobby sometimes had an unpleasant smell. There was tea and snack available at lobby on the first day but never seen again on my four nights after.

Booked family room with my parent. Room was clean and amenities ok. Note that there is no heating in the room. We had to off air conditioning due to cold front during our March visit. Location is good but not as convenient as we thought. Had to walk abit on the road (uneven walkway outside shops) and cross a round-about without traffic lights to get to night market. In terms of pricing & proximity to night market, it’s ok. But if you want convenience without waiting for buses (bus timing is not accurate and much longer than main cities like Taipei & Kaohsiung). Better to stay near train stations for accessibility and accurate timing.

Hotel location is great, near lots of food. Environment is clean, but bed less privacy since very close and no proper curtain. The other beds I saw have full curtain but mine only 1/3 could be covered. Lights are dim. Public spaces are good and comfy. Overall nice according to the price.

Helpful receptionist, breakfast buffet spread was decent. Good location - less than 5mins walk to Wenhua Night market.

Everything is Fantastic and amazing service, staff very nice and approable, room very clean and comfortable,level 2 living room is very homey, breakfast is very delicious you can chose from traditional food, Asian, and western food. Hotel well recommended and transportation is very convenient.

Good place to stay as it is near the wanhua night market, alot of youbike nearby in the city and the hotel also seems to provide bicycle. The backpackers room is clean and each bed has its own small lamp and a single charging point. The only Cons would be that you have to put on the bed linen, pillow case and duvet cover yourself and also taking out when checking out. Towels and toiletries are not provided for backpackers so you either have to bring your own towel or buy/rent from hotel. The environment is great for gatherings at the common area, kitchen is fully functional.

I love the room and services. The front desk staff are very friendly and I can place my bicycle in the hotel. The location is very close to WenHua night market.

Pretty great place to stay for a one night stay. Got the room without the window and did not even notice it. Personally, I was expected more orange around the hotel and room but it was still aesthetically pleasant. Good walking distance from chiayi station - around 13 minutes for normal pacing and 10 minutes if you walk fast. There is a lot of good food around the hotel.
