Overall I would pick another hotel nearby given the options in the area. The location of the property is good because it’s close enough to the night market that you can walk there but it’s not a ‘short’ walk. Also, the overall decorations of the rooms and hotel is pleasing to the eye but the rooms are small. What’s being showcased online in photos are the suites. The amenities also need to be updated. Our AC unit just could not cool our room. It’s clear from looking at it that it’s a very old unit. I could have tolerated that but the outlets are horrific. The hotel provides an extension cord but it’s useless because the outlets are so old and loose they can hardly hold anything in. I even brought outlet converters and that did not help at all because there are also very few outlets. The food and drinks are not good either. There’s potential here because the bar space is super cute, clean, and ambient but the cost of drinks is overpriced. I paid 280 baht for a whiskey sour that had more ice and sour than whiskey. We also paid 300 baht each for breakfast and it just wasn’t good. The pool is very cold which sounds weird given the heat but the extremes are just not good for anyone. Last, the wifi is spotty. It’s the only hotel we stayed at in Thailand which wifi kept dropping. I gave the hotel 3 stars cause the staff were very nice, professional, and helpful. One night there was this super loud boom from a neighboring house and I called downstairs. Staff were nice and reassuring about it.
