First impression was wonderful with all those mountain view and great location and spacious room until I found some cockroach eggs in the room on the carpet and pigeons nesting outside my room, right by the AC outdoor unit. And it's a bit disappointing that the windows are tainted with dust and pigeon fecal matters; I had to clean one window myself to capture the beautiful sunset from room.

Location is good for drinker many bars around convenience to find food. One set back hotel don’t provide slipper in room may soil the bed or could be the bed sheet
Not change no wonder body feel itch.

Excellent hotel in an interesting area of Chiang Mai. Many coffee and eating shops and independent shops nearby as well as a few good bars.
Staff very helpful and the room and the bed very comfortable.
Will definitely return on my next trip to Chiang Mai.

There’s other smaller and more interesting hotels in Chiang Mai , but this hotel is great if you’re new to city (the hotel is a lot taller than other surrounding buildings) or just want an easy experience in the city - they need to maintain the fitness equipment - I’ve stayed 2x and would return

The position of this hotel is excellent. Unfortunately the spa is no longer open. The pool was cold, there are plenty of places to get a massage near by.
The breakfast and food in the cafe bar was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Don't just look at the Astra official pictures
Astra Condo been abuse a lots
Most of public facilities lack of maintenance, such as Gym room, swimming pool, public toilet...... Those facilities outdated
In bedrooms as the same kind of situation,
Been to heavily used, interior decoration outdated, you can the floor lot of marks, the kitchen facilities such as fire pan / pot, they're heavily used, all non stick coating gone, the curtain not blackout type, when afternoon time sunlight inside the room.
Large bedroom, the air con not cool enough, the smaller air con, 0K!
Before i hired there, i told the owner to caution the pest control, but i still kill 1 - 2 cockroach
