We booked the family suite, and were pleased to discover two separate sleeping areas with their own doors. This was an excellent situation, as our teenager was concerned about being in the same room as his parents. We loved being able to walk around the shopping area of town, as it’s right outside the front door. My husband and his dad enjoyed the local brews, and the bartender was very helpful with his descriptions of the beers brewed on site. Visitors should be aware that, because this is a historic property, there are uneven surfaces and creaky floors. The ceilings can also be a little low in some areas. (Personally, I think these features actually add a lot of charm to the inn!) We enjoyed our time in Chester and hope to return to the Pied Bull someday!
