Couldn’t go due to having covid and the greedy hotel didn’t even give me my money back!!

Really helpful staff and they were ready to help giving out info about the area and things we couldnt find. Rooms were in good standard. Quite and friendly environment. Easy access to the parking and rooms. Will recommend if anyone looking to spend time around chertsey.

We arrives at around 9.30pm and we're completely ignored by the man on reception who was on his mobile phone. Rather than acknowledge us, he got up and left the desk, heading into a room behind it. When he eventually returned and gave us our key, we made our way to the lift which smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes. We got to our room and the smell of cigarettes inside was again overwhelming. The window was already open and there was cigarette ash all over the windowsill and bed beneath it. Someone had clearly been in there smoking not long before we arrived. I complained at reception and was asked if I would like another room: yes! We were given a different room which seemed cleaner at first, but the bathroom smelled of urine and there was biro and what looked like blood on the shower curtain, and the taps and shower were covered in limescale. By this point we just wanted to get bin bed, following to 2 and a half hour drive, and resolved not to use the bathroom if we could avoid it. We were there for about 12-13 hours in total and that was too long. The only saving grace was the breakfast box in the morning, which was quite nice.

Room not as clean as it should have been and nuisance people congregating outside late at night, quite intimidating whom should have been moved on.

Horrendous! Do not stay here! Wasn’t able to get a space in car park due to skip and white van parked across three bays. Room was smelly, bathroom were dirty and sheets were stained, ended up sleeping on top of bed covers. To top it off, room was on ground floor facing car park, aforementioned white van was parked directly in front of window with men sitting inside drinking till early hours, felt very unsafe and would advise for people not to stay here!

Total sh*thole. Carpark tiny so have to use public one down the road. Downstairs stinks of ****. Room filthy cleaners clearly don't know the meaning of the word 'clean' - dead flies squashed on mirror in bathroom, skirting boards not been cleaned for months. Crumbs by side of bed. Panel in shower coming off. Air con doesn't work. Bed sheets ripped. Windows filthy. Advertised as recently refurbed with king sized beds throughout - no evidence of refurb and reception confirmed all beds are doubles so false advertising. Reception also confirmed they have a fly issue....in April! Second of two dire stays in a travelodge hotel so wont be using again.

There was very little by way of friendly interaction upon arrival. We were misled during the booking process and then had to pay a £10 modification fee on top. My advice would be to double-check your booking details and then check again.

We wanted a cheap and cheerful stay after a trip to thorpe park. I booked without looking at the reviews but after seeing them I'm glad I booked to give it a chance. No funny smell on the bottom floor, staff we had were very friendly and helpful. The room itself is basic as you would expect for a cheaper stay. Bedding and room was tidy and clean. The only thing I saw was limescale around the shower taps. The bed was comfy and we had a pleasant stay overall.
