Visited this resort for the second time and was pretty disappointed by the rooms. On checkin the rooms were full of dust and fungus damp patches on the wall. They immediately changed our rooms and gave us rooms on the third floor but these rooms were also full of dust and insects . But the staff were amazing as they immediately cleaned up the rooms and washrooms for us on request. Extremely wonderful staff . The rooms looked very neglected and the room in which our kids were, had damp fungus on the wall, behind the bed. Pillow covers and sheets were clean but very old and full of lint . The bathrooms had no hot water in the shower. Tiles were unclean . Also the steps leading up to the room were extremely dark at night and was difficult to find our rooms in total darkness. I got lost as I could not find my way in the darkness. Please put lights in the corridors and staircase. We had ordered room service (dinner ) and the food was very delicious and served piping hot . Soup was delicious as well. The complimentary breakfast was extremely disappointing. The omelette was unpalatable and the bread was stale. Chana was pretty good but bhaturas were burnt . Dosa, sambar and chutney was good. The only thing good about the place is the beautiful location on Kappad Beach . Could just walk across to the beach. Also the staff were extremely polite and cordial and assured us that things would be better on our next visit . Kudos to the staff . Thank you so much for your service. The garden is pretty too.
