booked this place by accident........so glad we did, everybody, owners, staff and locals all very welcoming and chatty. The food was excellent, views beautiful, comfortable bed couldn't wish for more. Happily stayed an extra night !! Trying to find an excuse to return !! We stayed two nights at the Bulls Head inn, conveniently situated on the B 455 about 5 miles south of Bridgnorth. The pub has a small number of comfortable fairly small rooms which were well equipped with an en suite toilet, washbasin and shower and a comfortable double bed, with hanging and drawer space, tea and coffee facilities, a hair drier, and a TV. Our room was small but comfortable and although it faced the main road it was completely quiet in the evening looking out over rolling fields. I swam in Chelmarsh reservoir on Saturday morning (also available on Thursday evenings). I booked through Nowca. We had a good breakfast in the pub (08:30-09:30) and also had a really tasty and good value evening meal there one night too., (They have live music on Saturday evenings). The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful - and at £80/night bed and breakfast I felt it was good value. They do also have small bungalows to rent if you wanted. The Bulls Head Inn is clearly signposted along the B 455 and is a great spot to stay if you want easy access to the Severn Valley Railway.

We visit this hostelry every time we come to a campsite in Chelmarsh. The owners, staff and customers are always very friendly. The beer is well kept and service is excellent. The meals are always beautifully cooked and served. The chef even visits your table, if he is not too busy, to check you are satisfied. This is definitely a place to visit for a few pints or a meal. We cannot fault it.

Visited here for my parents as a treat after not seeing them for 3 years as they live in spain the pub was empty at 3 oclock on a Saturday afternoon but I presumed the mad rush had gone we were twice given flat coke no apology we ordered our food 3 mixed grills they were shocking just fat and grissle and burnt steak we complained but nothing was done we were told we could have a pudding I asked to speak to the owner who was abusive and didnt want to listen I said I wouldn't pay for the 3 meals as they weren't fit for a dog never mind my family I offered to pay for the other meals salmon and fish and chips which were okish nothing special he shouted abuse at my dad and family we left the pub as he was becoming more angry he has then today decided to put on his website that we left without paying no mention of the awful food he needs to learn some customer skills awful experience

Stayed for two nights. The hosts were amazing. So supportive of our needs and ensured they could do everything they could do to accommodate. The outdoor cottage we were in was very.nice and comfortable. Heating was good and could be adjusted to our needs. The food available in the evening was plentiful tasty and extremely well presented generous sized portions. Again nothing was too much trouble. The drinks are very reasonably priced. Breakfast was a buffet and cooked options available. The breakfast was beautifully cooked on both mornings and Norma spent a great amount of time speaking with us and ensuring everything was well. A superb stay with superb hosts, very highly recommended to all.

Great overnight stay in this really nice, friendly Pub. Good comfy spacious room, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. The bar area was busy with locals happy to chat! Would recommend if you are in the area.

Beautiful family run business. Menu and food delivered - AMAZING - I pre booked and ordered a lobster on night - the chef came and spoke with me before cooking and asked my requirements- that’s a welcome first! Lobster was out of this world - no words to describe its flavoursome, visually appealing and maximum taste.

We called into this pub in Chelmarsh hoping to order some food, after visiting a couple of places in Highley which were very disappointing. The landlord was very welcoming and the locals were friendly. Ordered food and had a pleasant few hours in a charming country pub. BTW great real ales too.

Sunday lunch we enjoyed today with our friends was simply amazing, the best we have experience in the area for quite sometime. The staff were very pleasant and attentive, would highly recommend. Truly home cooking at it's best, thanks to Norma and John and all the staff.
