Beach Front Tower Mihama by Dsh

Het was mijn eerste keer dat ik naar Okinawa kwam, en ik had niet verwacht dat ik het juiste hotel zou kiezen. De kamer met uitzicht op zee was prachtig, de leefomgeving was erg rustig, er was een parkeerplaats en het was heel dicht bij de Amerikaan Dorp Ik zou graag terugkomen de volgende keer.

The room was very clean and comfortable.we had a stunning view of the ocean and were so pleased to see we were walking distance from the beach and the American village. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very accessible and staff are the best!.it was rainy when we visited there,.if it's sunny it would be perfect because it's a beach view.. Having a washing machine and a dryer was very much helpful especially during rainy days🙏☺️

This hotel was great. Simple as that. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable — bed was good, pillows were fine, and it was quiet at night. Bathroom was spotless, water pressure was strong, and everything worked like it should.The location was convenient. Close to everything but still quiet enough to get decent sleep. Price was reasonable for what you get. I'd happily stay here again. No complaints. Just a really solid hotel that does everything right.

The room is just right for couples. Nice sea view during high tide. Lots of parking lots behind the hotel. Can bring less clothings as there are washing machine and dryer. The staffs were friendly. Toiletries provided beside the front counter. Can ask the staff for extra bottle water. Exchange clean towels anytime. Complimentary simple breakfast provided is a plus. The only “complaint” is that bed is too soft for seniors like us. Other than this everything was great.

Stayed for 5 nights for USD$528 as a family with a toddler in Jan 2026. Pros: Good value given its excellent location and made for a good base in Chatan. The waterfront was at our doorstep (stone steps rather than beach) and we got to see the sunset. Stay on a Saturday night and get to see the 8pm fireworks from your room. Lots within short driving range, restaurants and Aeon Chatan. Hotel staff were friendly and amenities were sufficient for our needs. There was a complimentary light breakfast with coffee of extremely diluted juice, along with a tiny pastry heated up. Cons: This was by far the worst hotel bed we’ve slept on. The bed was too soft and caused leg pain for my husband as a result he slept in the sofa bed, which opened into an “n” shape with the top and bottom sinking down. There was also a hard metal rod in the frame. We tried requesting for an extra duvet to make it more comfortable for him and was quoted ¥3000 for it. The room was old and dusty and floor didn’t feel clean and area underneath the bed was dusty. We shifted the bed to make space for the toddler to play and as a result we sneezed all night. The sea view was nice but as we only paid for a mid-level floor, people could easier look in hence we kept our blinds closed most of the time. We asked ourselves if we would ever visit again given the good location and view but sadly we decided no as my husband fell sick often during that stay due to poor sleep.

The place is about 5min drive to the American Village. It's actually a long walk to the village even though the people tells u it's just near by. You can walk... If you are a Singaporean, double confirm chop, you should drive. Our walking distance for far and near is very very different from the Japanese and Koreans, or most other countries. Due to our efficient public transport system, we are spoilt. We don't really walk that much, so conserve your energy for exploration and shopping, not walking. 😄 This hotel has staff that speaks excellent English, a refreshing change after a few days in Okinawa. They provide a simple free breakfast and have a separate showroom and WC. The shower room is really tiny. But the overall stay is very comfortable. It's definitely worth a repeat booking.
