The place smells new because it is new. Just opened December 23. Great restaurants on property at fair prices. The couple draw backs, was the Nickle and dimming. We stayed on the 8th floor at the roof in a water view room. But it wasn't for he ocean side, but the Bay Road side with a view of the garage. When we asked to switch sides, it was another $60.00 to do so on top of the already $320.00 bill per night. Beautiful pool and rooftop hot top to watch the sun set, but another $20.00 per person to use that area per day. The we pulled back the sheets to sleep and the bed sheet had a couple stains around the chest or shoulder areas. Pulled off the full cover and the remainder of the bedding looked clean, so we assumed the sheets were clean, but just had gotten some stain from something or someone on them. In such a nice place why even keep and use those sheets and let the customer wonder if the sheets were changed from the last user? Overall, we loved the resort, amenities and staff, just didn't care for the Nickle and dining or the bedding concern and ugg thoughts.
