The reception area is very shabby and dim. However our junior room is nicely decorated and clean.

They are doing renovations during the slow season, but they are very respectful about the noise. Wonderful place. Will be back.

Perfect location. We did not rent a car and just wanted a weekend in the historic district. The inn is undergoing renovations. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The room was large and very clean. The choice of nearby eateries was amazing. We want to come back after the renovations are complete.

The staff is amazing and the property is lovely with a lot of character. The major construction is a retraction to the quality of the stay. Wish we had known in advance. Lovely touch though to serve wine and cheese. I would return.

Beautiful older hotel. We have stayed there many times before. It’s under construction now and will be for a full renovation. Just be aware that construction is going on. We have always loved our stay there.

The staff were all very helpful and informative. Unfortunately the hotel was under renovations and we had not been aware of this when we made the booking. So several services like the fitness Center were not available.

Extensive building work going on in the lobby with the constant noise of drilling and hammering. I literally could not hear what the receptionist was saying to be as I complained at check out due to the noise from the builders. And that was at 10am Sunday morning. Felt tricked as their website should be warning of major disruption due to building works!! They are also one of these hotels who won’t service your room unless you ask for it. We asked for it when we checked in and it still was not cleaned for us !!
