This private 20-acre property is full of trees and offers a sense of serenity. Wake up each morning and have a cup of coffee on the front porch or just listen to the singing birds. At night, enjoy sitting by the fire beneath the stars.This cabin can sleep up to 4 people: loft with queen bed and the living area has a high-end queen sleeper sofa. (To get up to the loft you will need to climb a library style ladder).Dine inside at the hand-crafted table or outside on the picnic table while using the grill. While the treehouse cabins provide a unique getaway for all, we have a very special mission at Jay Bear’s Retreat: “Giving families of special needs children the opportunity to make memories while enjoying all nature has to offer.” Our son, nicknamed Jay Bear, was born 14 weeks premature and spent the first 5 months of his life in the NICU. Our family knows first hand how important it is to spend time together, but how difficult it can be with so many doctor and therapy appointments. Once a month we will offer a family with a special needs child a free getaway to make new memories that will last a lifetime. If it's cold outside you can use the wood burning fireplace to cozy up while watching a movie on the provided HDTV and Blu-ray player.From the living area you can exit to the huge covered 36x20 covered deck with matching cathedral ceilings and premium lighting. On the deck is a dining table, 5 seat hot tub, charcoal grill, and exterior wood burning fireplace with patio furniture arranged to enjoy a fire and some smores.On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and 1 full bathroom.Overlooking the living area on the 2nd floor is a loft with a full-size bed. The 2nd floor also has an additional bedroom with a queen-sized bed, office workspace, and a full bathroom.The kitchen is fully stocked with any dishes or utensils you would need to prepare a meal. We also have a Keurig with complementary pods, a drip coffee machine, and a French press. Use our 15-piece bartender kit to impress your friends and family with your mixology.Downstairs you'll find a lounge area with several chairs, a fold out sofa and a chess board. Pass the full bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms to find the game room, complete with air hockey, board games, and a 4-player arcade cabinet with 17,000 games. The downstairs bedrooms have one queen-sized bed and a bunk bed with a full-size and twin-size mattress.Exit through the walk out basement to our brand-new lower deck with 3 egg chairs, additional patio furniture, and a barrel sauna with outdoor shower! The bathroom is on the first level with a luxurious walk-in shower complete with a touch pad to control the temperature, LED lighting, and overhead bluetooth speakers to listen to music.The living room has a sofa with a TV and DVD Player to relax and unwind after a day of exploring! This opens to the kitchen with counter height bar seating and a "tiny house living" concept. There is a mini fridge, stovetop, oven, and a wine cooler. The cabinets are stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, a toaster, coffee maker, and basic kitchenware.One of our favorite highlights is the vintage 1957 Coca-Cola Cavalier vending machine that has been restoredOur spiral stairs lead to a loft bedroom with a dreamy King Bed with twinkle lights, a small seating area, and a TV. Punch in what you want to hear and enjoy free play music from both the machine and the overhead kitchen speakers.This space opens to the Kitchen with counter-height bar seating and a "tiny house living" concept. There is a mini fridge and freezer, gas stovetop, oven, microwave, and a wine cooler. The cabinets are stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and basic kitchenware.
