Although not a boutique hotel, Hotel Estoril has the amenities you need.with a homie feel. The room was cozy equipped with very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and small balcony. I loved the location as i was able to walk everywhere. I walk to all the popular site l, into gaia. I was surprised to find out it's situated to popular night life. (Felt it was very quoet neighborhood) but as i got more comfortable and explored i discovered a whole other side of the neighborhood i did realize. Definitely would stay here again. Felt safe, comfortable and intergretated with locals. Had i stayed somewhere closer to the city certer i would have maunly just seen the other tourists.

Everything was great. The location is awesome and room was super spacious and clean. The lady in the reception was extremely helpful and nice.

The location is excellent, steps away from the main attractions of Porto. Food, supermarket (Pingo Doce) and restaurants are just there, plus the Metro station (10 min. walking with the luggage) to connect to the airport, train or buss stations).

A lovely building and glorious garden hidden behind an unassuming front door. The twin room was neat and clean, the continental breakfast reasonable and varied, but the real gems here are the lovely architecture of the building's communal areas and the idyllic garden, with several comfortable seating areas for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of Porto. There are delightful hotel cats who have their own separate garden apar**ent. The hotel opens onto a pedestrianised cobble-stoned street in an old area of the city. There are quirky shops and lots of traditional and reasonably-priced cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. The staff are really sweet and helpful. This hotel is a little jewel.

Lovely street/ area , plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Great Portuguese hospitality, everyone extremely friendly and helpful.

Its rated a 1 star...........but its better than that !
Staff are good. Excellent location in the less touristy part of north Porto. slightly far from the metro but use the 602 bus from Carolina and you are there.
