İnanılmaz kötü bir otel. Akşam 9’dan sonra resepsiyon otelden ayrılıyormuş. Tesadüfen otele girebildim. Başka şeyleri saymıyorum. Uzak durun.

de foto's van het hotel weerspiegelen niet absoluut de werkelijke omstandigheden, kamers niet vlekkeloos en sterke stank van rook, oude lakens en gaten, beschadigde muren en vuile badkamer en douche bedekt met kalk en ruwe reiniging. mysterie waar hij de 3 sterren kreeg. in het centrum maar boven een grote markt (van maandag tot zaterdag) met als gevolg lawaai vanaf 6 uur 's ochtends.

We kwamen in de avond aan. We hadden het hotel gevraagd om ons met de shuttle te brengen. We kwamen een man tegen die duidelijk geen duidelijke ideeën had (zijn auto vergist op de parkeerplaats, de verkeerde weg inslaat, geen riem, geen masker...). Kortom liever een echte taxi dan hun shuttle service!! De straat naar het hotel en de wijk die vanaf de luchthaven komt, zijn vervallen, maar het hotel ligt zeer dicht bij het stadscentrum. Er is elke ochtend een markt, het kan je wakker maken. Vooral omdat de kamer erg gehorig is, moesten we de koelkast loskoppelen. Goed voor een nacht...

The property was dirty with rusted shower head, broken lights, dirty shower tray, cigarettes in the toilet, marks on wall, open roof hatch, broken door and marked bedding. The room smelt strongly of smoke and the windows were dirty. We did not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. The bed could not be used as it was so dirty and the shower unsafe. I have stayed in basic hotels before but this was dirty, smelly and unsafe.

They told us that checkin is available since 9pm however there was nobody in 8pm. I had to call staff and thankfully she explained to me how to make self checkin. That was not a good start however the next day they kindly offered a free breakfast.
Bed was not comfortable however, all other stuff was nice.
lady in the reception was so kind , and helpful.

Fantastic location. Everywhere nearby. We were in December, so the radiators were a big plus, which were only on the first day, but there was also air conditioning that could be heated at night.
Towels not changed even once for a 3 night stay. The room was only cleaned once (after the second night).
The big downside was the terrible stench upon entering the hotel. The smell was no longer felt in the room.

It's a small, cozy and friendly hotel located in the town centre of Catania. It's very easy to each from the airport (airport bus) and the metro station is just 1 min by walk. You can easily reach the Central train station by taking the metro. There is a Penny supermarket very close to the hotel. During the day, there is also a market just in the same street of the hotel building so you will see the movement of the vendors and get a closer look of the life of Catania! We had breakfast included and the hotel gave us vouchers to use in a nearly bar so it's very convenient. From the hotel, you can easily walk to the town centre to see the fish market, Duomo, and loads of restaurants. People in Catania are so friendly and nice. We enjoyed very much our evening walk around the main streets near Duomo where people were playing music and painting pictures. From Catania, we booked a day tour to Etna and we spent another day in Taomina. Taomina is easy to reach either by bus or train and it's worth to visit!
