B&B Elios Rooms

The people at Elios were very accommodating especially arranging for transportation to the airport for us

Excellent room and location , just a little small for two people with bags otherwise great!!

Wonderful hostess, the B&B is family-run, it is clean, around the corner from Via Etnea, has an elevator, offers breakfast, has a refrigerator and freezer for those that have medication to refrigerate, arranges taxi service, trips, very helpful and welcoming. It was a haven for us after we escaped from a horrible B&B hundreds of steps up a hill.

English not spoken at the reception. Room didn’t match the photos, soundproofing non-excistent and neighbours were loud. Smoking inside was allowed and the smoke got into my room as well. Location was good, but can not recommend this place.

Owners were delightful. Very nice and welcoming. Bed comfortable and pillows fantastic after long flight. great rest!! thank you!!

I think Elios is good value and a great location. It's clean and we thought the design....the creation of the en suite was quite ingenious it's a little box effectively with the room and what we liked was that it was fitted in so as not to spoil the nice ceiling. The room was a good size and the bed was perfectly comfortable. There was an aircon unit which I really appreciated as I am obsessed with not having mosquitos come in but also don't like a bedroom with is too hot. There were still mozzies around I got bites to prove it but I didn't have them buzzing around in the night! We had a little balcony. As it's so centrally located there was a lot of traffic and noise from that but you can't have it both ways can you? And some sound from other guests. One review went on and on about noise well if you want quiet get an apar**ent to yourself out of the city. We were just minutes from the Duomo and the bus station at Piazza Borsellino. It was great! The building itself felt very secure so I felt safe. There was a safe in our room....you have to ask for a key. Marika was nice but my favourite was Cinzia who made our breakfast she was absolutely lovely she makes your coffee she will make you scrambled eggs it felt very personal and I talked to her quite a bit in my halting Italian. Very sweet very kind.

Elios Rooms is conveniently located a few minutes walk away from the Duomo. It really is a lovely place to stay and Marika, who runs it, is extremely kind and helpful. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and the private bathroom was really fab. It cost about 60 Euros a night and was ten times better than the Air BnB that I had stayed in when I first arrived ( Luca’s flat in Via Santissima Trinità ). The Elios bedroom fridge cooled down my water and chocolate and the air concooled me. What a pleasure! Thanks Marika and her mama and papa!

A very clean room. Staff was friendly. Great location

Stayed only 2 nights. Reception was already closed when I arrived, but thanks to the very warm host Marika, I could do the check in myself. On the day of the check out it was possible to leave my luggage at reception and they helped me aswell for transport. Excellent located in the center of the city for a citytrip. I only recomment this place. I will definitely come back to explore more of the city.
