Amazing hotel, I couldn’t fault it, from the hospitality to the cleanliness of the room and all the facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be going back. Giuseppe and Katatina are amazing hosts, they made sure the customers had the best stay they possibly could.

An all round excellent place to stay that is away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Situated on Via Cretaio, its picturesque views from the terrace overlook the sea at Cassamiciole with the perfect spot for looking out at breakfast or watching sunsets at night. The rooms where of a high standard of cleanliness as was the whole place. The food and drink was of a high standard and for the duration of my stay felt very homely and relaxed with special thanks to Guisseppe and Caterina who went the extra mile with everything when it came to our stay. I will definetely be coming back again in the future!

I would recommend Hotel Ape Regina to ANYONE. This was one of the only places my fiancé and I stayed where the pictures perfectly portrayed what you are getting. It is a beyond gorgeous facility with incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful staff. From calling us a taxi when we couldn’t find the place, to bringing us free bruschetta outside of kitchen hours because we said we hadn’t eaten lunch, to upgrading our room to an ocean side view simply because the room was available, Giuseppe and his staff made our stay in Ischia magical. I cannot say anything more about their incredible hospitality and beautiful hotel.

Hotel Ape Regina is a hidden paradise on the island. The Mattera family are very friendly and helpful at all times. I have been going to this small family run hotel for over 25 years and will always be my first choice. It is extremely clean and the air conditioning was excellent as an escape from the very high temperatures in Italy between July 14 - 24 July. There is nothing better than bathing in the pool and then relaxing with refreshments to watch the spectacular sunset over the Mediterranean in these very peaceful surroundings. The food on offer is exceptional and the portion size is extraordinary ! A hike to the top of Mt. Epomeo is a must during your stay. Can't wait for my next holiday at Ape Regina.

This fantastic place allows you to relax and recharge. Beautiful views of the island and the sea are best enjoyed while sipping from a nice and strong *****ni , a Spritz or while sampling from a great selection of local wines that the hotel offers for a good price… Also great are: Internet speed; bed; food; room; airco; staff. This place is a recluse from where you can explore the island by bus car or scooter. As this hotel is not really aimed at families with small children; the only sounds you will hear are from the fountain of the swimming pool and the birds and the bees rushing by :) Highly Recommended!!!

A beautiful place where you can recharge and from where you can enjoy the beat battles gifts that the island V has to offer. Internet speed is great; the wine options are fantastic, especially in terms of price vs quality… and the *****ni is nice and strong:) What else do you need? Great bed, check. Good food, CHECK friendly staff, check Recommend? CHECK :)

We feel very privileged for having been able to spend time at Ape Regina. We have been coming a couple of times since 2016 and every time the experience is excellent. Giuseppe and Catharina are always available to help with any queries and at the same time you have a sense of complete privacy when you are staying at the hotel. The views are magnificent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the caprese salads with excellent mozzarella and tomatoes, not the kind of produce you would buy in a supermarket but the quality you buy from a farmers market. We rented a scooter (Giuseppe was kind enough to make arrangements for us and have the scooter delivered to the hotel) but you could also take a bus which departs hourly from a stop at a minute's walk from the hotel. If you can, do get a room with sea view as the views are stunning at every hour of the day. The hotel is a beautiful getaway for those who enjoy being surrounded by nature and who can appreciate reading a book by the pool or on your balcony. The owners really make an effort to keep the place a tranquil haven: no glassware or diving in the pool.

I would recommend staying at this Hotel. The owner is quick to respond to answer any questions, speaks English, very clean, great food, spectacular view, friendly, and there’s a beautiful pool if you wish to swim. It’s in a great location, center is in walkable distance if you choose not to use the bus. It’s also in a safe and quiet area. I had an excellent stay for 1 week.

Рада , что выбрала именно этот небольшой семейный отель в окружении изумительной природы , с потрясающими видами на горы и порт с великолепными яхтами . Уютный, с красивой террасой и очень гостеприимными людьми . Джузеппе и Катерина Благодарю вас за отдых . Отель стал любимым и в него хочется возвращаться снова и снова .
