Dalston Hall

My wife and I enjoyed a Travelzoo two night pre-Easter break at Dalston Hall Hotel. The room was comfortable with a spacious walk-in shower. The deal included Dinner, Bed & Breakfast and Evening Meal ... and a generous afternoon Tea. I must say, the food frame/carrier was absolutely groaning with quality sandwiches, warm snacks, butternut squash soup, cake selections and fruit scones on the side. The afternoon tea was by far the best I've sampled (including that of a well known Yorkshire business). One downside of the hotel was the soulless bar which was unmanned, however a member of staff come and serve you a drink if requested. The two course evening meal offered a choice from 4 Starters, 4 Mains and Desserts. The staff were so friendly and attentive. All in all, one of the best Travelzoo deals so far.

My friend recently bought me afternoon tea for 2 at Dalston hall, everything was perfect! we were greeted by the general manager Georgi who was professional and immediately made us feel at home. Our table was beautifully set, food and drinks excellent, the hotel is full of character, we were shown a stunning room which is set up for weddings, also met one of their wedding coordinators Olivia who was again very professional. This was our 2nd visit to the Dalston Hall and it didn’t disappoint. Our room (room 3) was immaculate and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Lovely staff and a gorgeous venue. We will definitely return for visit number 3. Thank you to all of the staff and the resident ghost for our good night’s sleep.

What a great place to stay best place we have ever stayed. Room was large with period features. The hall has period features through out beautiful grounds . Staff friendly nothing to much trouble. Breakfast was quality evening meal on another level can't wait to come back

My daughter got married here and I have to say we couldn't fault it from start to finish. Everything went without a glitch, the day was perfect. The place and grounds are stunning. The food was lovely. Thank you to everyone at Dalston Hall for making my daughters wedding so magical. Nothing was any trouble.

Beautiful grade 2 listed building, with lovely large rooms, in keeping with the history. Got this deal as a present via travelzoo, and it did not disappoint. Breakfast, Afternoon tea and Dinner were all excellent, and the service, from a small team, was friendly & fantastic. Couldn't recommend this place enough for a quality short break.

We had a fabulous weekend here for our friends Silver Wedding Anniversary. The attentive service from the staff, the quality of the rooms & the outstanding food were top notch. The staff went out of their way to make the weekend extra special with lovely little touches that were unexpected. If you are looking for a beautiful venue for a wedding or party I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Absolutely Perfect - well done!

Booked 4 nights on a Travelzoo deal, excellent value for money. Afternoon tea was one of the best we have ever had. Lovely house, great room, lovely small boutique residence. Superb breakfast/dinner , the staff are so lovely, highly recommended.

Fabulous long weekend spent in this gogeous Manor House, 30 mins from Keswick. Well maintained and stunning original features, with all mod cons. Staff were warm, welcoming and attentative. Food was hearty and super tasty. 5* service. Well done Team Dalston🍾🥳
