Taka Matanzas

Very nice property and staff! Very ejoyable. A little off the beaten trail and thus away from other dining options but not that far by car. The resturant and bar on site are fun though.

Such a zen and beautiful place, we stayed an extra night, as we liked it very much. It’s a perfect spot if you want to escape the city. There are beautiful beaches and little towns to explore nearby. The breakfast was delicious. Vanessa and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely we would stay again!

The staff were excellent and attentive! It is located on a hilltop about a 20 minute walk from Matanzas (which has a couple of nice bars/ restaurants). Good views and a lively bar! We wish we had stayed longer!

Very nice and con fortable hotel! The rooms are very cozy and the breakfast is great It is not close to the beach, but has a great view. The bar outside has a limited menu, but it is a nice place to get a drink. The service is very good

This hotel is stylish with a laid back vibe. The rooms have a natural feel with a comfy bed, effective shower and a good sized balcony with sun and shade. Pay a little for one with a sea view as it is well worth it. The grounds are well tended with lots of native plants and there are private sun beds, a giant chess and a mini skate park. There are two TV rooms both of which have Netflix and Amazon Prime. There are two swimming pools with ample loungers, low key music and shade and there is a spa with massages but I didn’t use it. It’s a great place to unwind for a few days on the coast. However there are a few things to know or you won’t enjoy it. 1. It’s about 2k from Matanzas up a steep hill and there are no taxis or Uber so if you go into town you need to drive and pay for parking. I wouldn’t advise walking back along the main coast road in the dark 2. Complicated food is not their thing. Breakfast which doesn’t start until 9 is simple and samey and apart from that they mostly serve pizza in the bar. If you want a coffee, you get one for free from reception. 3. There is no air conditioning. This didn’t bother us as we set up a nice through draft but it might some people. However there is a heater in the room. 4. The staff are young and friendly but if you don’t speak Spanish not many speak good English although they try and communication wasn’t a big issue. 5. No TV in the room and the Wi-Fi is a weak outside the main hotel buildings That said it’s probably the nicest hotel in Matanzas and armed with this info you should have a great stay

Excelente decisión venir a relajarse a Taka Hotel, de llegada agradecer a la recepción, quien te espera con agüita, café o té, mientras esperamos nuestro check in. La decoración de la habitación me encantó, sin tv para un relajo total, más que agradecida por la atención de todo el personal. El aroma de esas hojitas de eucalipto con aceite que dejan en la habitación, te transportan a un bosque, es realmente relajador. La comida del restaurante muy rica, los tragos en el bar buenísimos sobretodo ese taka souer con el cual te dan la bienvenida. Para qué decir del desayuno buffet, juguito natural, sus ricos omelet, huevos revueltos con un panecito amasado, ufff una maravilla y para los amantes de los dulces como yo, una galletitas, cocadas, queque de zanahoria ohhhh buenos buenos. El hotel también cuenta con sala de juegos, con sus acogedores sillones y estufa que para quienes no pueden estar sin tv, te invitan a ver una buena película. Nos faltó disfrutar del Hot Tub, su uso está incluido en el precio, por cuánto tendremos que volver si o si!!!

El lugar es increible, con camas muy cómodas, comida rica, lindo el lugar y la atención 10 de 10. Solo mi recomendación es que faltó mantencion y limpieza en el area de las reposeras y que no estaba la carta completa de tragos. Vuelvo a destacar la atención del personal que fue sin dudas excelente.

Increíble atención, el equipamiento perfecto, no daban ganas de salir del hotel. La pieza muy rica y la comida exquisita!! El pan amasado del desayuno era demasiado rico! Las piscinas y las reposeras preciosas! Y todos quienes atendían eran lo maximo, hacian que l experiencia fuese perfecta!

Realmente una experiencia de alto nivel. Para mi lo más importante es poder ir a un lugar donde por la noche puedas dormir con el ruido de la naturaleza y un silencio profundo, aquí sucedió eso. se encuentra en una loma maravillosa donde puedes ver el mar desde dos lugares distintos. Los dormitorios son increíbles la calidad de las sábanas toallas e e infraestructura da cuenta de un muy buen trabajo arquitectónico y de excelente diseño. Parece lugar donde el viento sufre frío tienen un increíble J un exquisita temperatura donde puede jugar entre el frío y el calor con una piscina lo suficientemente grande como para poder nadar. Algo notable es la atención cosa que es muy importante, es atendido mayoritariamente por gente joven con muy buena disposición y ganas de servir, es decir se nota que aman lo que hacen. Y para terminar quiero comentar que la comida del restaurant es realmente de otro nivel, aún ni paladar siente el plato que me comí, es de esos platos que no tienes que echarle ni siquiera sal porque ya está perfecto. Cosa importante para personas como yo, tiene gimnasio.
