De accommodatie is prachtig gelegen in het wijndomein. Na aankomst even moeten wachten en alvast lunch genomen die prima was. Kamer was mooi, schoon en had 2 douches en een ligbad. Helaas was er geen winetasting op maandag. Ontbijt is echt geweldig

Loved everything about Rijks, from the setting to the staff. I will be back. We have another Tulbagh wedding in January, and I cannot wait to return.

We had a above expectation stay. My friend is disabled and we worried a bit. But upon arrival all our worries stayed in our vehicle. The place was immaculate. Neat and like a fresh breath of air. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely best ever stay.

Any business is only as good as the staff that works for them, Rijks have successfully hired some superstars. Attitude is everything and the staff treats you perfectly all the time. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are spacious and the food is phenomenal. Rooms are starting to beg for a little update (tile grout and paint) and would also benefit from newer towels and updated air conditioners. This is about 1.5-2 hours from Cape Town, through the most beautiful scenery ever. Close by you can find the best Chardonnay in the world at Springfield Wine estate and visit multiple other wine estates. Book directly on their website and breakfast is included - and it is superb!!

We had a l lovely stay at Rijks. The staff at check in were very welcoming and efficient. The gardens are beautiful kept. We had a lovely dinner, overall it was good value

It is many years since we last visited Riijks, situated to the north of the quaint town of Tulbagh. The property has undergone major renovation recently and some planting is yet to be completed. Room 8 was a generous size beautifully appointed in light and airy colours with wooden floors, a thatched roof and modern fittings. The bed is comfortable and very large and there is an indoor seating area as

Rooms should have kettles without having to ask for one! The staff all courteous and friendly. The recent renovation of the garden and the plant nursery is a good idea. Food choices acceptable and portions fine

Perfect land mark with beautiful mountains, nice and friendly workers with beautiful rooms very clean and neat with beautiful decorations to compliment the room, great food in overall it a perfect place to visit with friends and family for vacation

It has been my second time at RIJK'S! First of all: I like the wine - especially the Chenin Blanc. This time I decided to stay overnight. The wine yard is straight forward - no fancy stuff! This makes it sympathic. Kind staff in the restaurant and good food. The pool area makes it relaxing! The rooms are clean and good enough. It could have been a bit more comfortable seating on the terrace.
