Prachtig hotel op fantastische locatie. Kamer was erg mooi en schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Goed restaurant, ook voor het ontbijt. Als Nederlander moet ik natuurlijk wel even klagen over de prijzen, die zijn echt aan de hoge kant en wat mij betreft niet in verhouding. Parkeren kan alleen op een openbare parkeerplaats en ook daar zijn de kosten aanzienlijk.

Zeer goed hotel - mooie moderne receptie en kamers zijn zeer ruim. We zaten op begane grond en maar door de structuur van het hotel geen doorloop (dus rustig). Kamers ruim, met ligbad en vanuit hotelkamer heb je goed zicht (het hotel ligt hoger). Ruime parkeerplaats met een oplaadpaal. Aan de overkant is ook een paal. Je loopt zo het centrum in. Ontbijt is goed, veel keus.

Just a few minutes' walk from Aarau railway station, and 'on the edge' of the Old Town, we enjoyed two very comfortable nights at the Hotel Kettenbruecke. The room was bright and clean. Double bed. Coffee maker. Shower (no bath). Buffet-style breakfast, offering a good range of continental dishes (what one might expect to find in most, similar, establishments. Perhaps a bit hi-tech for some (as we couldn't figure out how to access the wifi ... something to do with QR codes ... but a very friendly and helpful receptionist sorted that out for us). Enjoyed the stay, and would certainly return.

The room and particularly the bathroom were SO HOT as there is no Room air cooling and without the use of the small fan I requested from Reception we would have struggled to sleep, get dressed! The room was lovely, the bathroom and storage great it was simply the excessive heat that spoiled it PLUS on the morning of Day 2 (we stayed 3 nights) they forgot to clean our room and worse NO clean towels - so we had to shower and use the dirty ones to have left on the floor. Then unfortunately Breakfast ends at 9.30am weekdays but no one informed us when checking in so on day 3 when we came at 10am we had to beg for some yogurt and juice which eventually we got.

This nice hotel is centrally located and features stunning views over the river. The breakfast room overlooks the river and the buffet is well stocked. The rooms are modern and provide ample space to relax and work. There is unfortunately no onsite parking and you have to walk across the street to a nearby open parking.

Comfortable and modern hotel at the river. Large bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Center of the city is nearby (short walk). Not the cheapest hotel on Aarau, but you get value for money. Car parking and public transport (bus) are close to the hotel. Train station +/- 10 min walk.

This is a very modern hotel that lacks a lot of features thyt you can expect for that price. There is no gym, no air condition that you can use the cool down the ream and no fridge to at least put something in to consume later. So you end up with a modern but poorly equiped room which also prives a wsy to narrow desk so that you have a hard time working too. For me it was a big dissapoin**ent given the premium price tag .
