Prima hotel direct aan het meer. Prima restaurant!

Geweldig uitzicht vanuit kamer (superior). Kamer is ruim en licht en mooier dan op de foto’s op de website! Grote badkamer met ligbad en aparte douche. (Heerlijk luxe handdoeken!) Wel wat spinnenwebben in de kamer, dat is beetje jammer in zo’n mooi hotel. We liepen vanuit de kamer in een paar stappen naar een hoger gelegen terras van het zwembad, heerlijk rustig. Trapje af om even een duik te nemen. Parkeren in de garage is top geregeld. Cannero Rivièra is klein, rustig, niet zo veel te beleven, maar voor een weekje echt leuk! Prachtige wandelingen te maken in de omgeving en met de veerboot voor de deur ga je makkelijk naar de andere plaatsen. Lekker eten bij de pizzeria achter het hotel en bij de buren, Restaurant Europa. In het hotel zelf vonden we het diner niet zo goed en vrij duur. Ontbijt daarentegen was fantastisch! Super hotel waar we zo weer terug zouden komen.

Wij hebben gegeten in het restaurant van het hotel. Hierbij het 4 -gangen menu genomen. Wij verwachtten een goed restaurant gelet op de qualificaties van het hotel. Helaas het menu was zeer slecht, geen smaak en stond niet in verhouding met de prijs. Helaas zwaar teleurgesteld, hier komen wij niet meer om te eten, ondanks de prachtige locatie aan het meer.

10 dagen verblijf gehad in dit prachtige hotel . We hebben echt genoten ! Het personeel is echt super vriendelijk en zal je altijd van dienst zijn als je vragen hebt . Daarnaast beschikt het hotel over een mooi zwembad met handdoek service , en kan je telefonisch je bestelling doorgeven vanuit het zwembad ! Het onbijt was lekker en uitgebreid . De kamer was prachtig en goede airconditioning. Met prachtig uitzicht op het lago maggiore . Ik ben nog nooit zo lekker wakker geworden 😁

Superb - we like everything! Location, location and location :-) Quiet village right on a lake, delicious food for breakfast and dinner, free parking, spacious rooms, excellent friendly staff, will be glad to visit to this hotel again. Strongly recommended

This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely, old-world atmosphere, but updated in every way that is important. The location is perfect, directly on the lakeshore along the promenade. The staff is friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a lake view and enjoyed an aperitivo on the balcony every evening - it's difficult to imagine anything more pleasant!

Beautiful location, junior suite was spacious and balcony view had panoramic view of the lake. Easy access to the ferry and local restaurants. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was a great spread. Lots to do around the lake, would recommend in an instant.

A very enjoyable 3 night stay with rooms overlooking the lake at the end of September. Very attractive traditional decor. We did not use all the facilities e.g. the pool but they looked very good. Outstanding position at the pier - 50 paces from boat to bedroom !?! Access by car is along the pedestrianised waterfront, and the paid parking was worth taking as we came by car. Other than the very good breakfast buffet we ate at the other restaurants on the waterfront not in the hotel. Little points - coluld have used more power points in the bedroom and a kettle /tea-coffee making facility: also better mirrors/lighting in the bathroom. There is not a lot of other commerce in Cannero Riviera, this hotel would be excellent if you just want a peaceful spot without but for a longer stay with more choice of facilities we found Cannobbio just up the lake to be very attractive. Would not recommend Luino across the lake for a long visit - it seemed rather drab and industrial/commercial to us.

Very much enjoyed our 3 night stay. Excellent location and wonderful views from our "superior" lakeview rooms. Only a few very small criticisms stop it being 5 stars all round.
1) Only 1 mirror, a large one with not terribly good lighting, in the bathroom.
2) we found the bed rather hard.
3) It would have been nice to have a kettle and tea making facility in the room
4) and a couple more standard electric power points.
5) The shower has an emergency call cord in case of slipping etc. which is excellent. However it was tied up so high that anyone who slipped in the shower and actually would have been unable to reach it!!
Decor and conditoin of the buildings was beautiful, and otherwise a really good place to stay.
