Old English deco hotel, cozy and comfortable. Kind gesture with homemade cookies and tea served in our room. Seemed to have a long history and heritage hotel. Hotel restaurant served nice fish and chips!!

It looks pretty in The photos, but I wanted to book at The Georgetown Inn in Washington, DC, and the platform showed me this B&B. The exact same name resulted in me booking the most expensive room in the hotel but getting no service and swallowing all my money.

LOVE the antique vibe and all the decorations were attention to details xo
Spacious, clean, and comfy! Surprisingly quiet despite it was built on top of the pub.
Front desk is NOT 24h available so make sure everything you needs are set before they close front desk.
I walk from downtown to get there, 25mins walking. It was nice day so I didn’t mind but recommend to drive there.

The staff customer service was fantastic! All of them from the front desk to the restaurant made our stay very enjoyable.
I loved the china tea set and various types of tea that were available in our room. The cookies on the first night and card welcoming us was very thoughtful.

The Georgetown is a lovely Inn conveniently located in Canmore. The room had an old fashion English feel with a lovely tea service with cookies to welcome my arrival. The pub was a pleasant atmosphere, and I enjoyed a dinner and a breakfast. The food and service was very good.

Liked everything except I am a light sleeper and there was a constant noise in heating system . Seem to come from area below our room.

Would definitely stay here again as the rooms and building were beautiful and so relaxing. For us as Brits we were very disappointed in the ‘British pub food’ we didn’t eat the starter or the main as the curry was far to milky and no spice and my husbands French onion soup wasn’t traditional in taste but couldn’t put finger on it. We did eat the sticky toffee which was good. All in all, would stay here just would not eat here.

It was very nice. The first room I booked the best was too soft. I asked for another room and the beds were great! I did have to upgrade though. They were accommodating. The restaurant bar has very good food and the atmosphere is lovely if you like a English style pub. Especially nice when they have the wood fireplace burning. Always a relaxing time.
