We liked that you did not need to make reservations for the restaurants.
Maintenance was very prompt!!!
The beach was fantastic!!!
There could have been more outside waiters.

This resort is absolutely beautiful and staff are attentive to all the fine details. Check in with Ramses was flawless and we got a room with fabulous views. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The pool / beach were clean with staff such as Joshua tending to your needs every moment. The entertainment staff made sure to include you in all events including Charlie and Rebecca. food was plentiful and there was something for everyone. The spa was very relaxing with an amazing massage. Highly recommend this resort!

My first time staying at a RIU hotel and I had the best experience!! Starting with the staff super friendly and helpful the hotel itself is very clean and the lobby has been remodeled. The food was 10/10 just wished the food was labeled if it had pork.. the rooms need to be updated but over all the rooms are big very spacious and the shower has shampoo and body wash in case you forget your own. I will definitely keep coming to this hotel or other RIU properties

Wish the food was better and that they had reservations so you weren’t stuck with a wait. On the upside, they brought up a nice, small bottle of tequila and decorated my room for my birthday. Staff is great and everything is clean. Amazing views and location.

The resort was easy to get around, in and out. One pool was the 'fun' pool, the other side was more quiet, which was nice to be able to choose which one to go to. The staff was very friendly and fun. We will go back!

Staff was very courteous and helpful. Our room was always clean. We had a problem with our safe but the staff fixed it very fast. Food was great.

This was my 12th time going to Cancun. I have stayed and very high end hotel and also cheap hotels. I choose RUI because it was middle of the road for a quick trip. While the hotel was nice and the staff was friendly, the rooms could use some updating. But the thing most disappointing was the food. Not one single nice sit down restaurant, only wine and beer were served with lunch and dinner, mixed drinks were not available. I was limited as to how appitizers I was able to order, the menus for lunch and dinner were the same 5 items. Overall the food was the worst I have ever had on any vacation. The “Steak House” which was just a roped of area of buffet was horrendous couldn’t even cut the “steak” let alone eat it. 3 out of the 5 nights we chose not to eat dinner bc it was that bad. First time we have had to go off site to eat after paying in all inclusive price because the food was that bad and limited. So unless you want to eat the same Buffett food everyday for every meal I do not suggest this hotel.

The food was mediocre at best and the entertainment staff and wait staff around the pool was limited and didn’t try to get people to interact.
This is completely opposite of how it used to be…after coming to this resort for 4 years we will not be coming back.

Rooms weren’t as nice or clean as I would have liked. Food wasn’t very good either. The area around the pool and the lobby was beautiful. Staff was nice. Lots of places to shop right across the street and walking distance from a lot of bars and restaurants.
