Great location in the Bay of a small fisherman's village. The view from the breakfast terrace was beautiful. Service was friendly and easy going. Public parking is available around the corner of the hotel (free from 8 pm to 8 am). Rooms and bathrooms are rather small but for us it was sufficient. Rooms are very quiet as windows to the small street are very well isolated. During our stay there was construction ongoing in the Bay (May 2023) which didn't bother us as we had breakfast before it started.

Het inchecken ging heel soepel en snel met een lekker welkonstwijntje. De kamers zijn redelijk klein maar wel met balkonnetje en zeer goed onderhouden. En de bedden waren voor ons ook heerlijk ,maar dat is erg persoonlijk. Maar zeker niet te hard. Mooi zwembad op het dak met echt leuk uitzicht op de baai met allerlei leuke gekleurde bootjes. Het eten in het restautlrant bij de lunch was prima. Maar voor madeireense begrippen erg duur. De service in het restaurant vond ik niet super. Het leek wel of ze het echt wilde maar dat er gewoon gebrek aan opleiding was. Dit werd zeker bij het ontbijt duidelijk waar er heel labg gewacht moest worden op een vers eitje en waarbij het kon gebeiren dat je zomaar 5 minuten bij het buffet stond om een eitje te vragen en dat ze je 5 minuten niet aankeken terwijl het niet echt druk was. Verder was hetgeen ze serveerden wel goed. Maar weinig variatie. Ovarall prima hotel maar wel veel te duur voor de kwaliteit. Je betaalt hier echt voor het feit dat churchill daar nog heeft geschilderd. Wij moesten 207 euro betalen per nacht rn dat is het gewoon niet waard. DE eerste nacht hadden we kamer 116 en die zou eigenlijk niet verhuurd mogen worden vind ik. Das pal naast de entree en elke keer als deze dichtklapt met een late of vroege gast dan zit je rechtop in bed. Of ze moeten iets aan die deur doen. Vervangen voor een schuifdeur of zo. DE 4 sterren heeft dus vooral met de prijs kwaliteit te maken.

Erg fijn hotel zeer aan te raden. Kamers en de rest van het hotel zijn erg schoon. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en houd zich prima aan de corona maatregels. Ontbijt is in buffet form en de keuze is meer dan genoeg. Al met al een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Er is een prachtige baai waar je op uit kijkt maar het strand bestaat uit stenen en grint , maar het hotel heeft een heerlijk zwembad met een geweldig zon terras met ligstoelen met een super uitzicht.

Adorei a experiência gastronómica! Staff muito simpático, comi muito bem, comida simplesmente deliciosa! Lugar calmo, com vista mar para a baía de Cãmara de Lobos. Adoro sentir o cheiro da maresia por isso é um lugar perfeito para estar com familiares, amigos, em negócios, etc.. Adorei!!!!

Exceptional service All your staff are a credit to you. The young man on reception kindly extended our check out time until 2pm and also looked after our luggage until 5pm whilst waiting for our airport transfer car to pick us up. All your restaurant staff were exceptionally attentive and very friendly. My husband and l both from day 1 enjoyed Nuno's good sense of humour. Comment 100% satisfied and will definitely recommend you to family and friends if they are visiting Madeira.

Pleasant location with a view. Camara do Lobos has atmosphere, with restaurants and bars and nice views. I stayed in both PESTANA hotels over 4 nights, and this is the quieter one. Comfortable rooms. Daniel on reception is a first class ambassador for Pestana, and this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, Thankyou.

What a wonderful welcome. We are impressed. We arrived today and had the warmest and informative welcome from Ana Our room is well appointed albeit on the lower floor with beautiful bay views and lush foliage in the balcony. We are currently sitting outside listening to the buz of the village and the waves and watching the twinkling lights over the bay What more could anyone need ?

The Hotel is situated in a beautiful bay for a relaxing holiday in one of the quieter places on Madeira. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable, and all the staff were so friendly and always cheerful. In fact the staff were amazing, and made the stay at Pestana Churchill Bay so much more enjoyable, as they went out of their way to help you with anything.
