Over het algemeen kan ik goed tussen de regels doorlezen met recensies, maar ik moet de mensen met de meest slechte recensies helaas gelijk geven. Wat een smerige bende. Stinken, schimmel, spinnenwebben. Vieze oude meubels, gele vlekken in de kussens, inbraaksporen op de deur. Ga hier ook vooral in het weekend niet heen. We hebben tot 2u 's nachts van de karaoke kunnen genieten met een keiharde bas. Het enige positieve vond ik de jonge jongen die het ontbijt verzorgde. Ga hier echt niet heen!!!

This hotel is amazing value for money, stayed here a few times, we did rob roy way this week and stopped over five girls, the food was really outstanding in the evening and the breakfast was first class, the two ladies that were present in morning and served us were lovely as was the gentleman behind the bar in evening and checked us in. Cannot fault dalgair stayed three times and would stay again, many thanks

Excellent bar and B&B Really friendly and helpful staff Any of the bad reviews you’ve read I’d totally ignore them. Entertainment at the weekend, karaoke Friday and live music Saturday. Decent prices at the bar First time we’ve been here for a night in Callander and will definitely be back.

Excellent and friendly people.Made my stay very easy.Central and impressive old building.great value for a night’s stay and included a very nice breakfast with excellent service.Friendly,homely and typical generous Scottish hospitality.

Hotel smells of mold. Room was not very clean. Lighting in room was cold white LED. No remote for TV. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

Traditional B and B with a few antiques scattered around. Has a lovely wee pub downstairs well used by locals which has pool and a Duke box with libbuc at the weekends. The room was clean, had a decent mattress, warm bedding, bath and shower, decent size towel provided and a reasonable size flat screen TV on the wall. Plenty of storage and hangers. Now for the best stuff. The food, available in the bar or bistro next door at very reasonable prices it is fresh and plentiful and breakfast was also excellent and served in the chic but cosy wee bistro attached to the B and B. Staff were all efficient and welcoming with a warm easy manner. We will be back and the surrounding village of Callander with the Trossach hills rising around it is stunning. We came away feeling just as one should after a wee break. Rested and positive.

What a wee gem of a place. A real Scottish B and B clean traditional decor with a few stunning genuine antiques peppered about and little conveniences that you would expect in a fancier establishment like nice toiletries and a hair drier. Duvet was nice and warm and bath towels decent size with plenty of hot water and a choice of bath and shower. Now for the best part. There is a pub attached and a great traditional Scottish pub it is with Duke box and pool and you can order food from the bistro next door at very reasonable prices. All food is fresh and really made our stay. Staff are efficient and friendly. We were served by lovely staff and in the morning in the rather chic wee bistro attached and again the breakfast was A1. We will be back and hopefully the have room for us.

Unfortunately our stay in Dalgair House 11th November was a disappoin**ent. It was the start of our holiday in Scotland and we had a long journey on the following day to the north of the country. We did not get a wink of sleep until after 1.00 am as there was a thundering and loud disco/live music/juke box immediately under our bedroom. The heating was switched off during the night although the temperature was -2 degrees on Sunday morning. We would have appreciated been told about the loud music. We thought that Dalgair House was a small hotel but it seems it is a tavern with rooms upstairs. Very unpleasant stay.

Nice hotel to stay in. Bed comfortable had a good sleep. Had dinner in the bistro, food was excellent and great service by Brian. Entertainment in the bar was good, great a**osphere. All in all well worth with price.
