Our go to hotel when in Calgary. Close to Stage West, Costco and IKEA. Check in is always cheerful and efficient. Rooms are clean, large and modern.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Blackfoot! When we were checking in, we told the man at the front desk that we were heading upstairs to play Kings Cribbage. He said, "Why don't you come down and enjoy a Bailey's in the lounge, and we'll turn on the fire for you?" It was a lovely suggestion, and so we sat by the cozy fireplace, drank Baileys, and played Kings Cribbage until midnight. A wonderful memory for us!

Received a call from the front desk at 10pm on a Friday night saying that they had a complaint from the neighbours that we were being too loud. We were literally just sitting and talking at a low volume. We could also hear the next door neighbours when they spoke as well. There was an adjoining door to our room, so I expect that was half the issue

The surrounding area was peaceful but at the same time there were limited options for late night snack runs but overall the hotel and staff were wonderful.

I got to the hotel a day ahead of the reservation (one day short booked) and the front desk was able to work out something to make my check in easy. A bit high rate compare to the original rate that was booked but it was worth it. staff is friendly and accommodating as well. Great stay overall - Gina Grape
