The Oasis Hotel Cairo resembles a 1960’s or 1970’s motel in a small country town that has seen better days. The rooms don’t appear to have been updated for decades. The lobby is decent. Pros: the towels were good The pool seemed OK although we didn’t swim. Cons: Rooms were really run down Beds were uncomfortable and we only had twins The bathroom was old and tired. Our bathroom wall was shaking when the air conditioner, which DIDN’T work, was on Breakfast was awful Our pizza for dinner was undoubtedly the worst ever The hotel is really isolated with nothing nearby. The road outside is under construction and the footpaths are unwalkable with so much rubble Doors were hard to open and close
