We hadden dit hotel voor 1 dag geboekt om dicht bij de airport te zijn, zodat we onze vlucht niet zouden missen. Maar zelfs die ene dag in dit hotel viel erg tegen. In het zwembad gelden vreemde regels. Zwemmen met katoenen kleding, mag niet. De sluitingstijd van het bad is zonsondergang (19.50), maar het bad werd al om 18.00 u. gesloten. Medewerkers maken onderscheid tussen gasten. We hebben niets gemerkt van enige vriendelijkheid naar onze kinderen toe. Ze werden door de badmeester afgesnauwd omdat ze in het bad waren gesprongen. Er was een barbecue aan de gang bij het zwembad, maar de rookontwikkeling was zo hevig, dat het hele zwembadterrein met rook was omgeven.
Bij het diner was er een beperkte keus en heel veel gasten. Iederen had hetzelfde op zijn bord en het eten in de buffetbakken zag er onverzorgd uit.
We hadden een wake-up call verzocht om 5.00 uur, maar werden gebeld om half 4! Daarna was er nog een wake-up call om 6 uur! Het ophalen van de bagage uit de kamer duurde meer dan 15 min.
Zoals dit hotel zich profileert, zo hebben wij het helaas niet ervaren.

Het enige goede aan dit hotel is de ligging dicht bij de luchthaven. Het hotel zelf is zeer teleurstellend gezien het Novotel is en hoge prijzen hanteert. Het personeel is onbeleefd en de kamers zijn vies, inclusief vuile lakens die niet worden verschoond. Er is zelfs geen zeep en douchegel (lege container over!) in de badkamer. Kortom zeer teleurstellend voor de betaalde prijs. Het hotel moet van de naam Novotel worden verwijderd.

Nearby airport, shuttle bus from Terminal3 exit to hotel (or need to call for pickup *************).
Room are clean and quiet.
However, if need early checkin, have to pay 30USD.
If need breakfast, it cost 10USD (it is not as mentionned for 46CNY)

Public areas such as lobby and swimming pool are nice but the hallway to units and my unit condition was horrible. Its just like a motel. Towels and bedding smelled cigarette. Toilet and bath were in bad condition.
Staffs while check-in was not friendly or accommodating at all.
While waiting for the shuttle from airport for pick up service, a lot of taxi drivers told me that I will have to wait a hour. I thought its just marketing to make me pay for taxi. Surprisingly, it turned out true.
Drop off service was good tho.

This is a great hotel for proximity to Cairo International Airport and good value for a 4 star. They supply a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to and from the airport that is only a 5-10 minute ride. The condition of the mini-bus was somewhat tired but it does the job. I used this hotel on my outbound journey whilst transferring flights and again on this inbound one. It is very good for its category level and has a very decent pool in a spacious courtyard area. For both my visits, all the staff were really amazing and accommodated my requests, in particular Noor on reception, who was a credit to the Accor brand.

The bag check area was placed correctly causing inconvenience. Operator is also not polite.
Not convenience to walk from the Airport to Hotel, but Hotel provide free bus to and from which is good
