This is my third time stay. The room is clean and neat, the pool is nice, the pool side restaurant is good. We enjoy the tea and breakfast buffet!

Hallo, We stuitten direct bij aankomst in het hotel op een probleem. Wat betreft onze reservering voor een superior kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad, werd ons verteld dat het niet de gerenoveerde kamer was die op de foto's op hun website stond, dat het een fout van hun kant was, en ze eisten een toeslag van $70 per nacht, wat oneerlijk is. Ten t****e moeten we bij elke rekening een correctie aanvragen, omdat ze items toevoegen die we niet hebben besteld.

What an absolutely wonderful experience I had staying at this apartment! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The apartment was exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully prepared. The decoration deserves a special mention - it is elegant, tasteful, and full of character. You can really feel that a lot of attention has been given to every little detail, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The residence is located in Zamalek, one of the most beautiful and charming areas of Cairo, and the location honestly could not have been better. The neighborhood has a very special atmosphere: it feels safe, comfortable, lively, and relaxing at the same time. The streets are always animated, with cafés, restaurants, shops, and beautiful corners to discover. There is something interesting everywhere you look, and it truly feels as though every street and every corner has its own story to tell. I had the pleasure of staying here for five nights, and I can confidently say that it became one of the highlights of my entire trip to Cairo. One of my favorite things about the apartment was the beautiful view of the Nile from the terrace. Sitting there and enjoying the view was such a memorable experience, especially after spending the day exploring the city. It gives the apartment a peaceful and almost magical atmosphere that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself. The location is also extremely convenient. Almost everything you could possibly need is just a minute or a few minutes away, whether you are looking for restaurants, cafés, shops, transportation, or simply a nice place to walk around and enjoy the neighborhood. Staying here made exploring Cairo much easier and more enjoyable. However, what made this experience truly exceptional was not only the apartment or the location, but also the amazing people working at the residence. I have rarely experienced such genuine hospitality. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, and helpful. They genuinely pay attention to the smallest details and do everything they can to make sure that your stay is comfortable and pleasant. A special mention goes to Mazen, whose name I remember, but I would also like to thank the entire team because every single person I interacted with was wonderful. They were always available whenever I needed something, always greeted me with kindness, and sometimes went far beyond what I would normally expect. Their warmth and willingness to help made me feel genuinely welcome rather than simply being another guest. Overall, my five nights here were an unforgettable experience. Between the beautiful and spotless apartment, the tasteful decoration, the incredible Nile view, the perfect location in Zamalek, and most importantly, the outstanding hospitality of the entire team, I honestly could not have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend this residence to anyone visiting Cairo and looking for a place that combines comfort, elegance, an excellent location, beautiful views, and exceptional hospitality. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, and the view from the window was exceptionally beautiful. Due to my busy business schedule, I couldn't experience all the facilities, but overall, the hotel was excellent.

In general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

We hadden dit hotel voor 1 dag geboekt om dicht bij de airport te zijn, zodat we onze vlucht niet zouden missen. Maar zelfs die ene dag in dit hotel viel erg tegen. In het zwembad gelden vreemde regels. Zwemmen met katoenen kleding, mag niet. De sluitingstijd van het bad is zonsondergang (19.50), maar het bad werd al om 18.00 u. gesloten. Medewerkers maken onderscheid tussen gasten. We hebben niets gemerkt van enige vriendelijkheid naar onze kinderen toe. Ze werden door de badmeester afgesnauwd omdat ze in het bad waren gesprongen. Er was een barbecue aan de gang bij het zwembad, maar de rookontwikkeling was zo hevig, dat het hele zwembadterrein met rook was omgeven. Bij het diner was er een beperkte keus en heel veel gasten. Iederen had hetzelfde op zijn bord en het eten in de buffetbakken zag er onverzorgd uit. We hadden een wake-up call verzocht om 5.00 uur, maar werden gebeld om half 4! Daarna was er nog een wake-up call om 6 uur! Het ophalen van de bagage uit de kamer duurde meer dan 15 min. Zoals dit hotel zich profileert, zo hebben wij het helaas niet ervaren.

Swiss Inn Nile Hotel biedt een comfortabel verblijf. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim met prachtig uitzicht op de Nijl. Het personeel is behulpzaam en vriendelijk en de service is uitstekend. Het restaurant serveert heerlijk eten en het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid. Het is ook geografisch handig en heeft goede toegang tot toeristische attracties. De enige verbetering is dat het wifi-signaal soms zwak is. Over het geheel genomen is Swiss Inn Nile Hotel een geweldige en ontspannende plek om te verblijven.
