At the Cairns City, Uber to the hotel about $25, stayed there 4 night. Joined the day tours to waterfalls. Great trip

Good points: Room was spacious and clean. Aircon and wifi worked fine. Was in a good location. Quiet, dark, comfy bed. Good value for money.
Could be improved: Communal areas really dirty. Lift didn’t work the whole time we were there.
No one on check in (apparently they text us with instructions but we didn’t get a text)

Superb location. Walk to wharf for trips to Great Barrier Reef wharf. Supermarket across the street. Could not have been better location wise

I paid up front for 4 nights and on arrival was asked for a $100 deposit. I paid and went to our room. The room was decent but at night you can hear drunk people at 2.00 am, just like a window was open. The cleaning staff failed to replace the coffee and the milk containers were solid. On departure the reception told us that the $100 would not be deposited in their bank. One day later the money was removed from my credit card.
Please AVOID this hotel as there are better ones in the Cairns CBD.

Hides Hotel is the perfect budget hotel for travellers in Cairns. It is located right in the centre of the city close to shopping, cafes, restaurants, pubs and entertainment. Also close by is the Esplanade Lagoon and marina for GBR cruises and tours. The accomodation itself is basic but clean and secure. The airport and railway station are also within easy reach.

It would be great to clean up a little bit more even during our stay, and the door is rather thin so we can hear sounds outside whenever someone is passing by. The elevator was out of order for one day so we have to use the stairs but it was repaired quickly.

He was so nice i really appreciated his kindness.
He recommended us few local restaurants and Hides hotel's history as well. It was very impressed. He was a asian boy. Thanks !

老牌旅館在市中心，電梯有點老。房間非常寬敞。因為位置好 到哪裡都方便 空調功率大 有電風扇 推薦來的朋友住這一家
